As a Bayern fan I will say this. He has been good. The only reason he’s leaving is cause tuchel for an inexplicable reason turned on him. The whole fanbase wants to keep him. Believe me this is an amazing signing for you guys and embarrassing sale for us.

As a Bayern fan this move pisses me off a lot, De Ligt is probably pushing for it because Tuchel wouldn’t play him last season. He’s an absolute rock at the back but he won’t fix United, they have too many problems and he will have a few rough seasons. He deserves to be playing for Madrid.

It’s a dangerous signing because they have an awful coach. Also, this coach said they are far off from winning titles, then why not develop young talent instead of wasting money on high profile signings ? It seems we are still on the Manu Carousel of signing big names and spending money just to keep fan’s attention and ticket/ merch revenue high while extremely underperforming

Its not about who they want to sign, anymore. Lots of outstanding top players nowadays will never want to play at Man United as it is today.
He actually was the best defender in the Bayern team and fans are already furious that Bayern let him go for little money. I think Paul Scholes said he was the backup to Erik Dier recently which could not be further from the truth. He performed nearly all mathces along side him and would be first choice before Kim and Upemacanou given the quality of his/ their performances. Bayern fans are baffled to say the least they let him go. Btw Paul Scholes is both overrated as a player and especially as an "expert".
