Yet another great reel Joe , with lack of game time , the Leeds management might want to look at him more closely that other younger players . Also seeing how fit he is could be another reason why.As for the two wives thing , he is a practising Muslim , lets hope it sorts its self out. Ezgjan Alioski is on the free list , and can cover at left back , just get him back for the enterainment value alone

It’s pathetic that it’s come to this, signing a 34 year old no one else wants. We signed Byram in similar terms last season and we can safely say the 49ers are tight fisted morons. We should have signed more players in the window but no.

Bielsa always turned to the youth squad in situations like this and while that sometimes worked – turning Struijk into one of the best defenders in the division – it also meant that our “super-sub” was Tyler bloody Roberts (now plying his trade – at the age of 25 – at the bottom end of League One). Give me Kouyate any day over someone of Tyler Roberts ability from the youth squad.
