      The question isn’t really if we SHOULD. Because that’s a resounding yes! The question is who can we get and would it even be worth it?

      What many don’t realise is Arsenal only gave Eddie Nketiah that deal because we let go of aubamayang and knew we weren’t going to renew lacazette’s contract at the end of last season so Eddie by default became our only “striker” and he did perform decently in the last 6-7 prem games when we Called upon him after dropping out lacazette from a starting position. He actually wanted to maybe leave in hope to go to a team that he can get first team but Arteta and arsenal convinced him to stay but was smart enough after securing him down to go and grab G.Jesus who ironically became a first team choice striker and brought more to the team than Eddie ever could and make him a back up again because deep down Arteta and arsenal fans know we can’t trust Eddie.

      Personally I think January is a difficult market to bring in a top quality striker but I believe behind the scenes arsenal will be looking because asides from not scoring much Eddie doesn’t offer other things and I don’t think he can handle the pressure game in game out to score and keep arsenal alive in this title race

      As an arsenal fan i never once expected us to be top of the league. I also thought top4 would be really hard but now i think we can at least make CL football.
      There has been a clear progression at arsenal over the last 3 years and its only rival fans who banter the club because of jealousy.
      If arsenal want to challenge for the title then they must invest in jan. Need to be ruthless.

      What is the point of buying players to make of the numbers.We should only buy if we find players better or as good as we have in the squad.

      It’s bloody obvious what Arsenal should do to have cover because of Jesus injury BUT nobody has the balls to come out and say it ??? SO I WILL ……. EMPLOY RONALDO TILL THE END OF SEASON ….. HE IS A FREE AGENT ….. and IF anyone writes back to me saying he cannot press or quick enough THEN Spurs should SACK HARRY the donkey KANE ….. Ronaldo IS STILL FASTER, SHARPER, BETTER GOAL SCORER, THE LIST GOES ON ….. BUT….. the armchair tossers will obviously say otherwise …… IDIOTS …

      The market is getting too competitive and frivolous with spending, Arsenal can't do that much in the market, thats why home grown young players is the only way to go! City, New Castle, maybe Man Utd now, are all being bought by Saudi's and Qatari's! The PL is pretty much dead! The rest of the teams will also have to sell to them, or just show up because they won't be able to compete financially! We are now heading into a very bad era where true EPL will die and move to Arabia! Its a sad situation and fans only care about their team but the result will be that their teams will now be sold to other countries forever!!

      Piers warned us about this scenario, Arsenal was in a precarious position one injury away from crumbling, and it is the reason why Arsenal should sign Ronaldo for a 6 month contract. They need a striker ASAP!

      I don't think the right word is replace. We need to sign a striker anyway. Arteta has said top teams need atleast 3 strikers. I wouldn't go for Dusan now. Ivan Toney for me is a solid. And arteta should be able to coach him a lot more.

      That's why Cas isn't a Sporting Director. It is definitely a no brainer for Arsenal to look at signing a striker to help out as Jesus is injured. Nketiah is good, but there's too many games and he will get burned out.
