Man City midfielder Matheus Nunes has reportedly been arrested on suspicion of stealing a mobile phone in a Madrid nightclub. The 26-year-old Portuguese international is said to have been held in the early hours on September 8 at sprawling disco La Riviera and taken to a local police station for questioning.
Respected Spanish daily El Mundo said the arrest occurred around 5.30am after he was accused of taking the phone from a 58-year-old man who had tried to take a photo of him without permission in the nightclub toilets. Brazilian-born Matheus Nunes is said to have snatched the mobile in a fit of anger and refused to return it.
Police made the arrest according to El Mundo after being called to the club and confirming the Man City man still had the phone in his possession. This video details what took place and how it might impact both Matheus Nunes and Man City moving forward.

Strange old situation – Think Nunes overstepped his mark but do feel for him. Where do you stand?
Am sure VAR will clear this situation
PGMOL will make this go away
I with Nunes on this on… Simply deleting a picture is never safe, as it may just go to a bin, or there are ways to recover it later.
Invade someone's privacy like this and you lose it immediately
To add, if this was done to a women, by the same man, and she took the phone, would she have been arrested and charged?
Everton will pay for this injustice
Who won the pool?
Deleting the pic on a phone with cloud backup means the photo is not deleted, also deleted photos normally simply go to the trash which means you can undelete it. I am with Nunes on this one.
Was the guy who took the photo arrested and charged? Or is it now legal to take photos of people in the bathroom? Nunes lawyers should simply be saying Nunes witnessed a crime and seized the evidence of the crime so it could not be destroyed.
edit: great pool game video. I re-watched that a few times so sorry if I messed up any of your video stats.
