Manchester United have in recent years, gone with young forwards. They are buying them. In the past, they went with old experience forwards willing to buy them. who scored a lot of goals. These old forwards were well known in the markets and were proven in the premier league. So they where expected to score alot of goals.
Young forwards who have no past experience of scoring alot of goals are a gamble. They be either great or rubbish by the end of season. Manchester united style of buying have changed over recent years and it showing again they need to go back to there old style of recruiting?

The issue with holjund is he is a second striker , he makes secondary runs , he isn’t ever available to be serviced which people don’t talk about that’s why scruffy strikers like Nunez or Jackson get chances because they are good at being available to be serviced.

Anyone who has watched MU for the last year knows it’s service. We play with incredibly selfish, wrong footed wingers who cannot beat a man and cross/supply with their wrong foot. Their first instinct is to cut inside and then have a go themselves. When RH went on that brief goal scoring run last season, most of the goals he got were scrappy self manufactured poachers goals where effectively there was no assist. ETH failure to get a grips with Garnacho/Rashford/Antony is just one more black mark to add to a long list.
