  1. Liverpool fan but backing the day Petit was one of the players I had unlimited respect for. What a player. That late 90/early 00s France and Arsenal team with him was a joy to watch. Him and Vieira winning the Double and World Cup in the same season. Absolute LADS

  2. Petit (for obvious reasons) didn’t even touch on the fact that Mbappe also thinks he’s some sort of politician now chiming in during the Euros and telling the French who they should vote for. He’s a football player not a politician. Nobody cares about his political views. He’s paid to play football.

  3. Such an honest direct courageous & brave person πŸ’ͺanswered all the questions without any hesitation or adding any BS media. Top man Emmanuel πŸ‘ a true World Cup winner

  4. Biggest shame is that Griezmann should have been in the French team much sooner than he did. He was incredible at Sociedad and deserved his place then but it took Diego Costa going to Chelsea for Atleti to get the money to buy Griezmann and get a β€œplatform” when he already had one at Sociedad. β€œBig Club Bias” is a real thing.

  5. You're saying he didn't get what he wanted so he left… doesn't seems so great and selfless to me…not fitting that 'angel' narrative you're trying to create

  6. Seems Griezmann's multiple cases of racism is more forgiveable than Mbappe out smarting PSG in business… but I guess this is the 'blue eyed blonde' French logic type of thing

  7. At 53, I retired, and now I'm in my early 60s. Many of the folks who pushed back against me couldn't quite get the idea of not working if it wasn't necessary. I considered my life to be in phases. Even though I've worked very hard to get what I have now, I owe it to myself to "stop and smell the roses" in this last phase of life. In my instance, I departed the nation upon my retirement to reside in Latin America. I was able to appreciate my new surroundings and distance myself from all the bad things going on in America. Nobody I know regrets retiring, as far as I can tell.
