What a ridiculous thing to say . Am I missing something or haven’t Birmingham won nearly every game by just the one goal ?

  2. “We’re way too good for this division, getting ready for the Championship and staying humble”

  3. Firstly, he’s a good player. However, he’s spent most of his time in league one, ‘stay humble eh’ 😂

  4. He’s probably right but it’s a poisoned chalice to come out with that as early as September.

We thought we were too good for League One in 22/23 and didn’t make the play-offs. It took us another season to pull ourselves together and even then we only got promoted via Bolton messing it up at the last moment. We made the mistake of being too complacent, and I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Birmingham hit a slump – like we did – that ends their chances of promotion for another season.

  6. Used to not mind Birmingham as the enemy of your enemy is your friend, but since they’ve been relegated I can’t stand the comments coming from their camp, a large majority of their fan base included.

  7. Every opposition manager pinning this on the dressing room wall before they play Brum.

  8. Mentality difference, Tom Lees said we can’t expect not to get beat by any teams.

He’s finally matched his own goals tally with goals at the correct end, and it’s completely gone to his head.

  10. Absolutely nothing to be gained from saying that, everything to lose.

    Good entertainment though.

Bold statement, now let’s see league one shithouse Birmingham to not go up this season.
