It was an enthralling night at BC Place, as Vancouver Whitecaps FC drew Portland Timbers 1-1 in a night of many near misses and close calls, but it proved to be enough to secure a playoff place at the end of the season.

  1. Portland had no business getting a point out of this. The Caps got very loose in the last 10 minutes of the first and handed Portland a point. Portland scored 2 goals at the end of the first and the Caps were lucky one was called back. Schopf is lazy and his terrible give-away in the offensive third led directly to the Portland goal. The guy doesn't come to play every night. Vite is a better option than him.
