New Atletico Madrid signing Conor Gallagher has revealed that Kieran Trippier has advised him to join the Spanish club in his first interview as the ‘Colchoneros’ player.
The former Atletico player Trippier, now at Newcastle, encouraged him at England’s training camp this summer during Euro 2024.
The 24-year-old midfielder has joined from Chelsea on a five-year deal with the La Liga side for a reported £36m transfer fee.
