  1. Liverpool have played Bournemouth (H)
Forrest (H) Brentford (H) Ipswich (A) United (A) to already judge Trent’s defensive capabilities against those teams is laughable.
But we all know Danny Murphy would never say a bad word about his Liverpool.

  2. If I were TAA I would join Real Madrid. I think they are the only club in world football who you just cannot turn down. The stadium, city, history, tradition, players, fans, and the absolutely ridiculous amounts of European Cup's they win. He has won the lot at Liverpool and is about to complete 9 years service in the first team. He owe's Liverpool absolutely nothing.

Also Liverpool are going through a huge transition. It might not feel like it this season, but VVD and Salah's contracts are up this year and it's Allison next year. The new manager may want to build his own side around new singings, so it really is a crossroads time for the whole club. Maybe if VVD and Salah commit to new deals there is a chance that TAA might follow suit, but I don't see it. Again, I just do not think you can turn down Real Madrid.

  3. The club should have offered him a new and improved contract years ago, but they’ve been too penny-pinching. Now, Trent holds all the power and leverage. However, I have great respect for the Spanish players, many of whom remain loyal to their clubs and sign contracts with release clauses to ensure their boyhood teams benefit. I would be extremely disappointed if Trent left on a free transfer. They’re making the same mistake with Diaz who’s one of our lowest paid players.

  4. RM know better than any club when to let them go eg Varane Casemiro Ramos Ronaldo Benzema
Supposedly they have Ancelotti leaving and Xabi Alonso lined up for next season
Vinicius lined up for sale to Saudi and Endrick to take over next season
TAA lined up to take over from Carvajal when both contracts run out June 2025. Carvajal will almost be 33 and RM will let him go just like they have done with all the rest.

  5. Why are Real Madrid the only team in Europe that are allowed to tap players up and people just accept it. Personally I hope Trent is staying but if he's not then we should drop him out of the first team squad and get used to life without him.

  6. If I was Trent and a free agent, I'd join Madrid as well. He's currently on £10m a year at Liverpool. If Madrid come anywhere close to that, he'll be off.

  7. I was actually quite worried as a liverpool fan re trent leaving potentially however now simon jordan has said he will certainly be signing for real madrid I am confident he will sign a new contract to remain a liverpool player in the future because most of what jordan says re any sport the exact opposite happens🤣 the latest example being the joshua dubois fight last weekend🤣

  8. Should we also ask Sterling Anelka Torres Suarez Alonso Mascarha McManaman and what about Gerrard who missed out on winning every trophy available in club football because he was given death threats by the fans. I don’t see why he would be mentioned in this discussion as he is not in the same league with the players that Madrid go after. Kimmich davis and they have always been interested in signing James.

  9. Trent wont go to Madrid, Bellingham will go to Liverpool, yaw got it all wrong, ask yourself, what are the chances that Bellingham wont play in the Prem and this is an assumption given the Premier League straighten up and govern their league with integrity, how can u let one club slide for nearly a decade, its becoming a farce, this is why Klopp left, the Prem is where the action is for a footballer, who knows why a player would shy away from the Prem, its like if Tom Brady would have went to the Canadian League instead of the NFL, the Champions League is the only common thread that keeps players away from the Prem

  10. Trent has done us proud…if he wants to leave let him go…all players will leave the team anyway at some point in time…the team and the club is bigger than any player ! YNWA 😊

  11. If Trent does sign a new contract and all Liverpool fans hope he does , it's obvious those Champions League misses and Premier League misses have taken their mental toll on him it's not easy

  12. Klopp didnt fail Trent he knew his potencial that is only attacking aspect. Will Trent be comfortable sitting on bench for Real madrid..Liverpool first 6 games has made it even easier for him

  13. Sami hyypia was our captain and great one houllier or rafa end up giving it to stevie to keep him he might get the armband and make him a better player like what happened stevie he had more responsibility

  14. Trent’s gone mate, I don’t blame him either. Liverpool owners show no ambition. That’s the reason Klopp left. What’s the point of staying? He’s already won everything.

  15. Trent won't go to Real Madrid.

He's playing hardball to get more money out of Liverpool.

It's like those boring Rashford PSG links we hear every year 😴

  16. So boring the way people caveat talking about Trent every time with "there are questions about his defensive abilities", like they're saying something clever or insightful. How about look at the fact that Salah does zero defending and Trent is asked by his managers to get forward and assist in the attacks. Don't people realise this will open up gaps behind him?
