dude bulked up like anything in a very short period. thats not ideal. shld hve remain what he was.
also a lot of times, changing locations affects u a lot. n athletes compared to common people r like a machine. the effect is on a larger scale. u hve to be in tune so much to understand how weather, ur change in physicality affects u.
Could just be me but it always feels like Gareth Bale after retiring, isn't passionate about football and sounds like he wants to seperate himself from the sport as much as possible. Like the way he is speaking now, sounds like he thinks about his career's best moments maybe twice a year and smirks once, and then moves on with his life.
Bale needs a lot more respect. The script didn't factor him when talking about the best wingers/wide forwards of his generation.
Messi, CR7, Neymar, Hazard, Robben, Ribery etc. We're touted as incredible talents that would go on to do great things.
Bale was a left back at Southampton and early on at Spurs. Then all of a sudden his lighting bursts, his long range missiles and big-game performances catapulted him to super-stardom.
When he got to Real Madrid, he just kicked it up a notch. Going to levels no one thought he would achieve. Injuries blighted what could have been a truly legendary career. Still, he is one of the most lethal attacking players of the last 20 years. Bukayo Saka wishes he could do what Bale did…
A lot of people don't realize he lost his brother while playing football😢. Sometimes you're fighting a personal problem that affects your ability to perform at a high level . Head up champ you're a living legend.
He shold no have left the prem. He was not interested in playing Getafe, Sociedad and those teams week in week out. Those matches didn't mean anything to him. It was El Clasico and the CL for him only.
Wouldn’t say he overachieved, he was the most expensive player transfer for a period of time, played for Real Madrid the biggest club in the world and won them numerous UCL’s. He met the expectations
Gareth Bale is the biggest accident in world football for me. Very rare for a left back to be converted into a world class attacking midfi/winger/forward.
I think he’s cutting himself a little short here yeah he was inconsistent but no one could ever question that left foot of his, even his UCL bicycle kick no one was like in shock that he pulled it off it was more like “of course bale would score a goal like that” unbelievable talent

As a Real Madrid fan I really hated this guy. I was so happy when he finally left. I was so fed up with his shitty attitude and mosquito mentality.
Too bad Real Madrid disrespected him
Legend of our game but unfortunately golf took him from us way to early
No mention of spurs lool.
They still did nothing, won nothing with him.
L club
Best British player to ever kick a ball
imagine if this dude really loved football
One of the biggest legends for Real Madrid
Golf 🚀⛳

Love Bale, he was awesome in his prime
He was in great physical shape, but when that was worse, it was revealed how lacking he was in terms of technique and football IQ.
made one of the greatest partnerships in la liga.
My guy was partner with Ronaldo for 7 years not too bad..
This guy is underrated 🔥🔥🔥
Wales, Golf, Madrid.
In that order.

Bale was an incredible talent
His time was short, but his talent and ability to make a difference was undeniably top tier.
Guy was a borderline bust at Madrid, his stats were terrible and his football was never even close to the level he achieved at Tottenham.
Nice to see football fans have rewritten history because he scored in a couple finals though 🤷♂️
Underrated player imo
I don’t care what people say he was the only one close to Messi and Ronaldo I put him par to barcelonas Neymar
Bale was just wanting to play rather than achieve. However, he achieved more than he had hoped for. Haha
Many upcoming big names fail at Madrid. Gareth Bale had a hard time syncing with Ronaldo. But in the end Gareth nailed it. Respect.
prime bale was a cheat code in real games
Tbf he was an athletic freak in his prime. Fast and strong asl

For where he came from, he's clearly will be generational hero ever, but for his talent, surely he could win at least one two Balon for.
His greatest achievement was winning a trophy with Tottenham 🐐

Been watching this guy from playing left back in Spurs to be a prolific winger/forward in Madrid. He was lit in his prime.
He's the one with the shortest career for someone who achieved a lot.
Gareth Bale is the biggest accident in world football for me. Very rare for a left back to be converted into a world class attacking midfi/winger/forward.
