Soucek reduces possibilities for scoring more goals & playing more possession based football in the oppositions half. Lopetegui knows this so bypasses midfield with long ball.
If there is one good thing from the International break is AWB, Todibo, Kilman, Emerson, Soler & Alvarez will all have vital time to try and bed in with each other.

Russy, if we purchased a quality striker for £40 mil, we'd have finished top 6-7 (imo) but now………. 10th.
Luis Gil, appears to be behind even Summerville so I doubt Luis will reach Kudus's level.
Soucek is just mostly lucky. He can score goals but a crap footballer. Ppl don't watch the game or understand it between boxes.
