  1. Conor – I got pelters from someone at the Valencia match after I rolled my eyes as the 'du du du du' started and said out loud please don't sing Paddy's song he may get on the pitch 🤣😂 The bloke next to me proceeded to angrily tell me that I don't know anything cos I'm not there at the games week in week out and what Paddy does for the team blah blah blah usual crap. I honestly couldn't believe my ears – it was hard to keep a straight face, I just answered yeah yeah yeah whatever and left it there🙄

  2. Looking at how the 49ers have been operating it looks like the talk of a new deal for Bamford would do 2 things. 1, alert opposition clubs to the fact he could be available (talk of a priority for Leeds increases desirability) 2, we have an option to pin him down to a new long term deal, on reduced money (again improving his desirability). Hoping to god his terms will not be improved.

  3. Badform 70k a week to get offside and pretend to be fouled. Not a professional footballer. No way. Been supporting Leeds since 1973, apart from Harry Kewell, never felt so anti any player as I feel towards him.

  4. I'm sick of this bamf{rd saga is farke thick or something Bamford has been finished 3 years gone he is 1 of the reason we a championship club so all leeds fans get use to not going anywhere no one wants Bamford

  5. Watched the USA game. Aaronson wasn’t that bad. The whole team performed poorly imo. Interim head coach with only two training sessions made it tough for the whole squad.

Aaronson just needs to get back to club training healthy.

  6. A Bamford new contract is reasonable. It'll lower his weekly wages (no way he gets a longer deal on the same money) which is good for Leeds on the weekly. This will also serve to lower the bar for other teams to put in a bid: nobody in the Championship will buy him and match his current wage. On top of that, let's all be honest. If Joseph gets injured, Bamford is the only real natural replacement available (his incessant injuries notwithstanding) no matter how much we do or do not like that.

  7. Love Lord Bamford for his f*ckery off the ball but I'm a realist, he couldn't score in a whore house, yes he gets the occasional one but not an out and out goal scorer for me

  8. Bamford not delivered on 3 season now so what's he going give us now more injuries same old crap go missing end season we give him new contract we going backwards he on free wage and as been fot 3 yrs wtf leeds owners thinking

  9. Loads of assumptions being made here.

Bamford leveraged his best season coinciding with Premier League money and a mad DoF to get a corking deal! That’s not his issue, that’s the club.

We now owe him £7.2m (70k pw) or £3.6m (35k pw) whichever is true.

    The extension could be

    1. They like him and want to reward loyalty and know he is a serviceable depth player in Championship with experience (I disagree with doing this)
    2. Strategic deal that helps with wage bill and PSR (lower wages over longer period) would have to benefit both parties to get done.

If it’s 2. then what’s the issue if he’s not our starter and it benefits the club.

And for all those who say get rid! That’s not how the world works, nobody would pay his salary due to performance and injuries. And why would we pay up a senior player to leave hurting PSR position, losing more experience and depth. Make that make sense! 😅

  10. Paddy is a lovely fella and I feel for him and his family over the dogs abuse he gets. However he has never been prolific, he has had a couple of good seasons under Bielsa the first coming back from a bad knee op sharinge the 9 role with Roofe. He helped us get promoted and then had his best ever season scoring 16 goals. Since then however he has missed sitters, hardly played and he earns a fortune without earning it. Sorry Paddy but you don’t deserve a new deal and you still have a long time left on the present deal. Take a pay cut, move on and rescue your career

  11. Shouldn't be slagging Bamford on a personal level like alot of the comments,we should get behind all of our players. Saying that we should be replacing him as he had has his day but while he wears that white shirt we should support him

  12. Bamford is the most overhyped Leeds United player since 1919 and one of the worst strikers to put on a Leeds shirt. Can’t understand why a lot of fans absolutely idolise him

  13. The US Media are just cheesed off because somehow, The Car Salesman has transformed Canada into the Top nation on the North American continent, and they cannot have a situation for their ego, where they're NOT number 1 on their continent. I would take their criticism of their players with a pinch of rock salt.
