  1. If this is leaving competitive football. Then what is the best football player joining a Real Madrid Powerhouse that is the reining Champion League and La Liga winner?

  2. Such hypocrisy! So, I guess Gakpo took a pay cut moving to Liverpool in exchange for better football; Van de Beek took a pay cut at Utd for better football; de Jong took a pay cut at Barça for better football. At least he actually plays.
Good on Bergwijn for securing his family’s future. He won’t be missing out much anyway. This Netherlands team, especially with Koeman in charge, won’t win anything.

  3. Ale Moreno is the best pundit in Espn fc. his analysm always spot on. what all espn fc pundit have to know playing any sport professional is a 'Profession' like doctor , Lawyer etc..the players looking for a good life for themselves and their family. Franck can you give the audiance some professional who work for proud? specially Frank always says money shouldn't priority for the player tell us why they play professional football for ? the players themselves know they need to work hard to be on the top to make more money. the clubs and national team don't help them when they retired

  4. Ronald Koeman threw a tantrum.. you don't attack someone personally for making a choice that does not have an effect on your life… this bothers too many people because the money is not coming from a European nation. His job is being a footballer not just a European league participant… let the dude go wherever he will be paid for his craft, what he deems fit.

  5. So a team can get an inflated transfer fee for a player from a Saudi team and it’s good business but a player can’t triple his wages because that’s lacking ambition. Either he’s selected to the national team on merit or not. Also some of these other leagues they swear are better. I’m not so sure.

  6. I sick of this entire debate, we are not talking about plumbers or teachers or clerks or factory workers being given the chance to go make multi millions of dollars, we are talking about players who ARE ALREADY MILLIONAIRES sacrificing their competitive career for the chance to become a little wealthier. Of course Koeman is correct the moment you do that you are done at the national level, should he have said nothing? Worded it differently? Maybe, but even the player must’ve known this would shut the door on his international career, he is just mad he got called out which is sad, own the decision you made. I wish these guys would just say “yeah this isn’t about sport, this is about me owning an extra yacht when I’m 40”

  7. Who the F is this dude he is getting lot of TV time he would never make playing 11 in any of the top 5 teams in top leauge and with 10 times more money he would rather start in 🐫 leauge rather sitting on bench in Bournemouth.

  8. Its wrong for koeman to do. Im sure the player still would have had some chance to still play for the national team. But now that he has said it out public, ruins the players chances of ever returning. Even in the dutch league big teams wont want him.
Koemans wrong, it was unnecessary from such a grown man you would expect maturity. Wish the player luck and dont pick him for national team and shutup.

  9. First of all Koeman was just answering a question. Second of all ofc he has to make this statement publicly to prevent other younger Dutch players with potential and caps to make such move too early in their careers. Lastly I understand Bergwijn’s choice because he will never get the chance to earn this much money ever again.

  10. Such hate for the Saudi league for no valid reason, a player went to saudi and suddenly he’s not good enough without even watching him play, ignorance at its finest, from the manager and from espn with their biased views. A player made a choice that would benefit him and his family, like every professional player that wants the biggest wages to secure their future, seriously your hate for Arabs is obvious. STOP THE HATE.

  11. Koeman is a arrogant one. He chise money when he went to Valencia. He failed as a coach everywhere outside Holland. If Bergwijn stayed at Ajax an he was not selected by Koeman what then. And ajax is a mess nowdays. Player should always think about himself. He is 26 within 3 years he gets 27 mlj euro and can stil return to Europe or go to USA.

  12. ITS A JOB! End of the day no one else gonna fed YOUR FAMILY! Freak off with all the bs. If his performance dips then don’t pick him it’s stupid to say he can’t make it automatically cause of his league. What if he goes there and scores 50 goals or something? Not saying he will just saying no one know how he’s going to play. Last time i checked Netherlands haven’t won anything in a while. To me this is more about the European supremacy they TRY to constantly push. Guess what the rest of the world has leagues to and they’re to be respected! Last I checked Japan beat Germany in a recent WC, Saudi Arabia beat Argentina and most of those players play in Japan, Saudi Arabia, or Qatar. Let people play and judge that. Yall prejudice is sick 👎🏾🚮

  13. You can’t pay for hospital bills with legacy, you can’t buy a house with legacy.

Frank talking as if he and his family are going to eat the legacy breakfast, supper and lunch.

If any of you had that Saudi money you will be on a yacht 🛥️ or playing golf somewhere nice not being pundits at your ages.

  14. The Anti Saudi league say the stupidest things like “I walked away from a $50k salary and it’s the same situation hhhh”

It seems the best players are going one by one to Saudi Arabia and the quality there is very clear making it comfortably the sixth best league in the world right now but ESPN is hating on the Saudi league because they didn’t give them any of that oil money that’s how media works

  15. Koeman selected also Wijnaldum for Euro 24, who plays in S-Arabie. Depay is 30 and goes for money to Brazil. But he does not exclude him. Koeman selects a lot on 'I like you' principles. I am from Holland. He knocks Bergwijn out, so he can still select Depay as second left winger behind Gakpo. That is his hidden agenda. Koeman and Depay are close to each other. Zirkzee will be the new centre striker of Holland. With backup of Weghorst. So he only can select Depay now for the left wing position. Bergwijn is better there actually. So he needed him to knock out with this BS reason.

  16. Great video coverage despite these trends, i have delve deeply into active trading and managed to grow a nest egg of around 100k to a decent 432k in the space of a few months… I'm especially grateful to Shea Ardolf, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape..
