  1. Sport is cyclical. At one point England hadn't beaten Ireland for thirty years. Ireland are poor now but they will have a decent crop of players in the future and the highlights of 88 and 90 will come again. England have another tournament run in them before the squad goes into decline. Don't believe me? Well what happened between 66 to 78? Was that not a decline?

  2. Watching England is like going to an art museum in London and seeing the paint still drying on a masterpiece made in the 1800. Millionares pushing a ball around a pitch and the other team standing back in admiration. They will never win a major trophy. Hunger comes from a hard life and players sending their earnings back home to fund brothers and sisters education and new sports facilities. Scotlands situation seems to be a lack of choice or the managers lack of vision. I have a special place in my heart for the Irish. Rooneys goal for the veterans in Manchester against Celtic was class. Also Stephans shot against the crossbar for Celtic was brilliant. He has survived cancer so lets all celibrate our past heros, life can be too short sometimes. ๐Ÿ˜

  3. Now that's over, can we (๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช) please stop talking about this whole load of bollocks. The Irish need to develop our own league and system. Stop getting foreigners pretending to be Irish.

Might as well start now, their at the bottom

  4. It is what it is, typical Irish luck. Just back home after a day trip to Dublin. I was actually born in the same town as Rice but both my parents are Irish so I'll always support them. Yes its disappointing these two decided not to continue with Ireland as they are quality players but you can hardly blame them, their hearts clearly weren't in it. The focus needs to be more on developing Irish born players but that's too much hard work for the FAI, isn't it.

  5. To be fair to Jack, he done that interview pretty well. Two brilliant players but realistically they should have never represented Ireland. No bad blood is right ๐Ÿ‘
