Mark my words, Tariq lamptey is the next taa
Tariq is a right back and often starts runs at the side to bring a cross. He is a more ofensive right back.
His strengths in my opinion :
Acceleration,Top speed(speed to recover)
Ect. a fast guy
– sharp change of direction, also great footwork
– great close controle and crosses
And mastered the rest pretty well, is still improving!!
i could imagine him doing such a weekly Training :
6 times a week
One day Leg Power :
strength a lot of explosive Training and combined with plyometrics
You can do these exerciszes for example:
Nordic curls, Hip flexor lift or kicks ect. ,
One leg squats and Jumps,
Isometric stuff like horse stance and wall sit (squatt hold)
also some plyos ect.
Tariq is probably doing Vertical Jump Training to improve hid Jimp height ect.
I also have a speed day : its the day where i combine acceleration ect. With plyometrics but Tariq will probably do it in his speed session so..
A Tariq Lamptey football session :
Stamina/Close controle / Position based pattern… and sometimes footwork exerciszes are the most do exerciszes for Tariq in my opinion. [ he allways do the rest too like first touch and Finishing ,but in smaler exercises ]
you can combine stamina exercises with dribbling exerciszes
What do I mean with Position based pattern???

For example get a long high ball from you Training partner and you controle it and turn … 1vs1 against a cone and you bring a cross.
To do it alone just shoot the ball in the air (strate line) controle it into the space behind you.. 1vs1 against cone.. dribble dribble dribble and bring a cross 😌
2 Pattern for example could be an overlaping run ( you can do it with a partner)
1. do a litlle passing combo then you pass or lay the ball in the way of your partner …
You make your run at the right side…
He passes the ball back to you in your running way and he instantly run into the penalty box… you controle it take some steps and make a cross…
So basically :pass combo you lay the ball to you partner running way .. you run at the right side .. he passes you the ball at your way and starts a run into penalty box and you cross he finishs
(There some or even alot more things )
