I agree. I have found Aguerd to be a bit of an enigma.
Sometimes egotesticle footballers hate to play 2nd fiddle, Aguerd should try fruit n veg picking, cos he'll now be lucky to get offers from a Glaswegian Curling team or a Co Cork gaelic football club.

Aguerd certainly has talent but clearly doesn't want to play for WHU. If he can't get the move he wants, tough. He can be a bench or a squad player until he is shifted. It's not about being shut out it's about not being good enough for the head coach or the league we play in.

Unfortunately Aguerd thinks he is better than he is, and is confused why better teams don't want him. A bit like Mr KP. He has cost us many goals, frequently out of position. If he were a horse he would be forever cantering and never breaking into a gallop. Drives me crazy every time he plays for us tbh, usually i am shouting his name at the screen, now Coufal has taken some of the heat off him but I'd still keep Coufal, but not Nathan

No sympathy for Aguerd as he is the one who said I want out. Why play someone who wants out.
Aguerd was very good when he arrived, has anyone thought he might have wanted out because of the crap moves was serving up. Now perhaps he sees a new style with a new coach that suits his style of play better.
I have seen him make not one or two but several defensive errors that led to goals. He should watch them back himself. Unable to admit any mistake. As for Ings, stop rinsing us and move on.
If Lopetegui wants to use different players then it’s not freezing Nathan out. Bang on Gonzo. The new head coach is using the team he tho is he needs to succeed.
Aguerd mistakes directly led to goals conceded on too many occasions. He's deluded if he thinks he's top drawer. His next move should be about rebuilding his reputation which has nosedived.
Great defender BUT better suited to the slower European style of football and not to the speed and physicality of the PL. Add to that his APPARENT lack of mental toughness which would see him forcing himself to adapt means he sadly has no future at the club. I have been one of his biggest supporters and have defended him to the hilt cos I love that kind of classy and silky centre back which I believe him to be. What I cannot defend is his fragile mentality and lack of intestinal fortitude. Those things cannot be coached. You have em or U don't.
In his defence though I think Moyes has played a large part in destroying his confidence by shoving him into a team playing backs to the wall and ultra defensive football. It's akin to buying a rolls Royce and taking it banger racing. I don't think that crushing of confidence he has endured will ever be reversed so a move is probably best for all concerned. I still maintain it's a real shame though.
I think he has the technical ability&pace to play a deep role in midfield like John Stones..as a defender he makes too many mistakes..he's a kind of in between player for me…
He might want to go somewhere where he'll be a first choice CB. But not desperate enough (for now) to take a major pay cut. Both could be true and do not contradict each other. As long as he remains available for selection, he has a right to want to leave, and we have a right to freeze him out if we don't rate him anymore. Ings is happy to stay because he is at the end of his career and can afford not to play all the time, Aguerd is in his prime and should be playing every week.
He can do everything a defender needs apart from actually defending…Bye Bye I'll drive him wherever he wants to go

Tbh ,hes in his best position as right back not left back – thats where he plays for morocco. I don't appreciate his approach to leaving west ham but i think, if im correct, that is down to this new agent (former player with juventus? Hes one greedy troublemaker agent , i despise him!) , whos put nonsense in Aguerds mind . The other thing is that Spanish coaches aren't moroccan player friendly in general, so i wouldn't be surprised if thats a factor too . I ,however, do feel he should be respectful and helpful to west ham and its fans and move on in a move that will helpful to the club – the club and fans showed him real love and loyalty, he shouldn't forget that
