Yeah maybe he should stay but his tactics are stale and he always plays Kane even when his form is patchy and some times he dissappears in England matches. A new manager could utilise England's other strikers, Rashford, Toney etc.

Warnock wants him to stay… but is critical of his coaching staff ? Why…is it because he'd like Steve Holland to tap him on the shoulder now and again during tight matches and say, " Gareth…seriously, are you sure you want to be doing that…bringing him on…taking him off" etc. Southgate needs to go now ASAP
As long as this English media is protecting Gareth the fluke, England will go NOWHERE in the next ten years. "Always the bridesmaid never the bride."
Realistically Southgate isn't leaving because he knows there's nothing else out there for him and the FA are too spineless to sack him. The thing that annoys me the most with Southgate is his blind favouritism. Players like Madison, trent, wilson/Toney etc just being selected to keep the pressure off his back with no view to actually play them.

Southgate will never win anything because Southgate has a negative attitude. He is right about not being able to change one's nature but one can change what we have been made into. Unfortunately Southgate doesn't want to change as he thinks he is correct in his manner. Southgate doesn't try to win he tries to not lose and there is the problem. Winners set out to win, they believe they are going to win. Southgate was pleased with a draw against the USA that's not a winners attitude. He should have been very disappointed with that performance not pleased with it. Einstein said keep doing the same thing and expecting a different result is a sign of insanity or words to that effect. Southgate is mad as he's convinced himself that he can do it his way after losing to Italy, what a mug. Us keep believing that we can win one with Southgate shows how insane we are because we are so desperate to win one. We are in a state of addiction here. We are so desperate for a trophy that we are still waiting for our dealer to give us our fix. It ain't happening lads and lasses the dealer ain't got any gear.

He also has favourites and bringing Sterling on after 2 long flights and all the personal stress was crazy. I think England have a great squad of players, now they need a great manager. Neil, not a SINGLE person alive agrees with Sterling coming on given his unpredictable stressful circumstances that week. It's common sense.

The bottom line here is that there was a debate as to whether there was progress under Gareth Southgate. Was getting to the Semi Final of the WC and the final of the Euros progress or was he lucky and lost to the first big side England faced both times. Also, history has shown us that teams playing at home in World Cup Finals always do well. South Korea making the Semi Final further proves this point in 2002 The French game was going to settle the argument because France were the first big side England faced in this WC. England lost, thus proving real progress has not bean made. Gareth has done well and I applaud him, but he has not broken through the barrier that proves real progress. You win and lose by fine margins at the top, so no excuses, no maybe ifs or buts. Well done Gareth, you did a very good job, but its time to move aside.
Southgate and the whole senior coaching setup needs rid of. Start from scratch with Thomas Tuchel and go from there. FA showing yet again, how spineless and unfit for purpose it is
Neil needs to go back on his meds, how can you blame the staff for something the manager is responsible for doing. Southgate picked these people, he picked these players. Its all on him.

Said this all along about Southgate's coaches!! Steve Holland is just his friend. The FA with all its resources and money etc should have the best. Southgate's man management is quite good, but tactically he's nowhere near good enough. Why not have a No.2 who is tactically good. It's not good enough from the FA, instead of calling for Southgate to step down those higher up should be the ones losing their jobs.

Neil says its not in Gareth's nature to be vocal – to be bit nasty- fire up the dressing room be vocal on the touch line. Perhaps his staff should help him out? Do you think that he surrounds himself with these type of people? There's different means of management, Neil – and Gareth has had plenty of time to explore them all – and his come up short. You were vocal on the touch line, Neal – said far too much at times and got yourself the sack at Boro as one consequence of this style of management. FA should fix the problem and replace Gareth with someone more ruthless and prepared to make difficult decisions on the pitch.
Off to the nursing home u go Warnock. He is a serial underachiever who is tactically inept. His character is not one of a winning coach. Maybe a high school administrator at best, but not the manager of a World Cup winning side. With all the talent at his disposal he never manages to win the big games against real quality opposition. He would do the absolute opposite of inspiring players and has no idea how to be a match winning tactician. Will be outclassed each and every time and results will not improve or change under him. And the clueless FA will keep on backing him. Simply incredible!
