  1. Well done Hassan! I will be always super proud of the world cup Qatar delivered to the world. With all you guys limitation regarding culture and restricted lows, You guys did a amazing job. And people should be able to understand that Qatar is a Muslim country and is not because they are hosting the World Cup that they have to forget them culture. Very much congratulations 25:34

  2. Because those sports aren’t your culture and in your history. It’s just owning something, you have palaces and cars.. let’s also own a premier league football club and buy world class competitions. It’s buying it because you can and you want to. The same way billionaires buy huge yachts. You desire it and you have the money to buy it. It’s not deeper than that going on about people are fans of it it’s a pretty weak excuse. The main question is why are we continually awarding dictatorships with Olympics / World Cups? Why? Why wouldn’t England be allowed a World Cup ? USA will now be having 2 in the modern era, what a joke.

  3. PASSIONATE, ELOQUENT, CALM, INTELLIGENT, BRILLIANT…Hassan is the voice of a man of reason. He is not trying to defend, justify or enforce his opinions even though loaded questions is thrown again and again at him. He is giving his perspective which a lot of the regional and Arabic/Muslim world shares regarding all the misrepresentation, stereotypesvalues. Respect to him and Qataris for just being and staying true to who they are 😍

  4. Why do we say, 'This is our country so respect our customs and laws when you're in OUR country', but then this is thrown out of the window the moment we're in someone else's country.
"Why can't we do this?", "Why don't you allow us to do this?", "why are you not allowing….?"
Why should other countries do what we say but not what we do?
What gives US the right to dictate what WE believe are the correct values?
If you don't like it……. STAY OUT OF THE COUNTRY….. SIMPLE!!!!!!

  5. You can be homosexual but we don’t want to promote homosexuality – religious and cultural reasons. Said the Africans and the Arabs now what’s so hard to understand about that? They say in the west if you don’t like it here then leave.. well that works both ways

  6. Thank you Hassan for this amazing interview and congratulations talk sport for facilitating this opportunity. In terms of finances which I forgot to mention in my previous post, I will say as an African that it is due to our lack of investment and contribution that we are as a nation such small players, the question put to Hassan is strange but he answered very well – regulations are in place. The western investors forget that the fact that they sit on top of the pyramid is the reason why so much sport if on their grounds it leaves other no choice but to compete financially to have a seat in the room. Thank you Hassan and I hope this knowledge spreads because others will not give it so plainly and accurately.

  7. France has banned the burkha ,it was ok to take away a woman's right to practice her religion that was ok to everyone can't imagine if this world cup was in Paris anyone would have brought that up ,Qatar ain't happy about the rainbow 🌈 and LGBT way of life the world is kicking off !!!! 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

  8. Well done to the brother for doing the interview and we’ll done to the fellas who’ve decided to conduct the interview.

The bias BBC and linekar/co wanted to voice their opinions and so should the Qataris who’ve hosted a brilliant World Cup so far.

It is a cultural event where people from all over the globe come to enjoy and experience. You have to respect the laws of the country and it’s as simple as that. Nobody should bow down to the liberal western laws whereby sodomy is openly committed. Well done Qatar!

  9. One of the greatest WC's imo. The real truth is out on da streets and in the stadiums. We all need to travel to these countries and sample the culture. Stop forming a concrete, ignorant view that is based on a minority propaganda to create a conception of negativity.

  10. I think Qatar has achieve something more than just hosting a successful world cup,, it left a very good impression and set higher standard how a world cup should be…

  11. While I agree its their culture and anyone visiting should respect it as it goes both ways but dam he talks so much crap it's unreal. Stop sugar coating it bro, it's not a misconception/stereotype/biased or misinformation everything we know about your country and culture is true and we have had centuries of proof and evidence.

Tell me you are used to speaking bullshizz without telling me you used to speaking bullshizz

  12. As much as I think their are issues that should have been raised we seem to be very quick to point the finger at others and not look at ourselves as well. When people come to our country we have certain things that we say we are not comfortable and we will say you cannot practice. We in the uk had a major debate the last few years about the use of the Hijab for instance. There are certain things that we simply won’t accept in our culture that may be acceptable other places like arranged marriages. If the World Cup was in the UK there are certain things we would say you come here but you don’t do that coz it’s not in our culture.

  13. NO western holigans specially English holigans so no racism ,No violence in the stadium n because Qatar didn't allowed Alcoholic drinks at All well done!!!!

  14. We expect foreigners to respect our country and our laws but we want to force our opinions on other country. Our own country is disintegrating so what makes our opinion any better then theres. The Qataris have been welcoming & hospitalityhas been on point. Well done hassan, he is well spoken and showed so much respect and class in this interview.

  15. This guy is honest, clear and very very engaging. It's almost cringeworthy to even listen to the questions he is being asked. The media and woke brigade are so so transparent in their agenda to cause division and create groups for us all to segregate ourselves in to. Personally I am left impressed by the man

  16. Well done Qatar. I am glad everyone seen the other face of wester media during this World Cup. But majority of people they supported Qatar for incredible well organized World Cup.

  17. Why don't we think it in a simpler and smaller terms? If someone comes to your house and they started to behave rudely, forcing their values on you & your family members, disrespecting your traditional views, disrespecting your people, you tell them not to smoke in the house but they’re asking why they can't smoke, then what would you do?

  18. Thanks to these journalists who were open to listening to Hassan's point of view with an open heart. Hassan argues excellently in perfect English explaining what all non-Western would like to express. Thanks Hassan.

Western media must understand that there are other cultures and other points of view and needs to stop wanting to force ideas on others. to respect others you must first accept that there are others.

  19. He speaks better than most Brits. Good on them for wanting us to respect their culture. We should be doing that too, but instead we are too scared to offend someone.

  20. @Hassan, “if you build it, they will come”, and you built it, Qatar built it. Congratulations to you, to Qatar and to the world for this accomplishment. This was not for any one continent, region or country, this was for the whole world.
Disclosure: until just before this video which started playing automatically after what I was listening to, I did not know any of the participants in this interview. Now a days, I watch Soccer every 4 years at the round of 16. As I was listening, it got my attention and I finished watching it.
I simply was confounded by the tone and the type of questions, instead of appreciation for all the work that had gone into this and in spite of such a warm and friendly atmosphere for most of the word to enjoy, some people could just not be satisfied.
I say Bravo to Qatar for this accomplishment. Going forward, I would very much like to see yearly soccer events taking place there, which will result in more friendship and cooperation between peace loving people of the regions and the World. That would be one of the greatest services to Humanity if this infrastructure could be used for the improvement of the current conditions which is a threat to Humanity as we know it. So I humbly Pray, Let there be Peace in the region and on Earth.

  21. Wow I am Christian and living in US impressed by your knowledge and commitment to defend your country with truth that is what this days countries all over the world have to have
Simply pride of your country brilliant person
