Both Tripps and Gordon need to get back in rhythm. Same with Miggy and Bruno. You can tell the difference between Big Joe, Dan Burn, and Longstaff and the two young fullbacks. They looked sharp while the rest were not. Fans need to calm down and stop swarming around players and what kind of daft question is that asking him if he is staying? If he is leaving the club would announce so have patience. Have some respect and stop treating our players as bargaining chips or commodities to be traded away.

Trippier has been a good player for us but nothing lasts forever and he is no longer the player that he was. I really think that he wanted the German move for what I think are social reasons which is why I can't see him going to Saudi for anything but a big pay day as there is no action over there. 😂
If Trips has personal and private problems, and if leaving Newcastle will help his situation then he should be allowed a move, and we should hope it will make a difference and help him, he's been a remarkable player for our club, he has been an icon, he was one of the main reasons we remained a Premier league club after Eddy signed him, we owe him a lot of respect and tons of thanks.

He was canny in that first half season with us but is well over the hill and half way down the other side .
If he was staying that question would of been answered I think there is a high chance he's leaving but nothing confirmed yet.
I'm wondering he feels mistreated being in under 21s or he's getting some minutes in as he was late back for preseason

Give the lad a break he has just split up with his wife during the euros and the way she treat him during it was shocking so he be going through a hard time hes only human like us he has feelings he will no doubt go next season if doesnt by end of august anyways but every toon fan should have nothing but respect for trips for what he has done for this club even when he does go

I love Tripps but his corners and set plays have been awful for the last 2 seasons and should be taken off duty for Gordon and Hall. From open play Tripps is where you see his true quality and gets assist after assist but not from set plays, those days are unfortunately over.
