Why would anyone want to risk their premier league career, to play for England?! A country where the most people are Muslim, most popular name is Mohammad and would have to play defensive football against every team! under probably the most boring manager ever. This is for Rory… is he aware of what happened with the French and Spanish women's teams last year? A lot of the French players didnt get along with Corinne Diacre and refused to play for the national team if she was in charge. She was fired, Herve Renard (Saudi men's team coach in Qatar WC) took over and those who were revolting promptly returned. Same with the Spanish women under Jorge Vilda.. there were like 15 players who refused to play. Now that he is no longer the coach, they are back in the team.
If a player isnt comfortable in the environment under a particular coach, you cannot just ignore that just for the sake of playing for your country. Mentally the player will just not be in the right headspace and their performance will suffer massively. At least they are allowing someone else the chance in the interim till things change for them to reconsider.

Rory (my fellow Chelsea boy) needs to pipe down. Ben White had an issue with the previous management. The feelings were apparently mutual from Steve Holland, but the media buried the story for England. They would most likely not have given him many minutes anyway.
Now that the management is gone, Ben White is making himself available again. Absolutely nothing wrong with that.
It would not have been a different story … he would be bench warming and putting up with hollands abuse as did many of the other players u were crying for during the comp

Rory what are you talking about. What did Ivan Toney say while playing for England he got the hump that he only was going to get two minutes. So why should White go when he knows he won’t be picked or get any minutes no matter how bad Walker plays. Southgate was never going to play Ben White. Holland didn’t like White. He completely disapproved of him and how he doesn’t watch football. He completely ignored what he’s actual capable of. Dedication and performance is what matters. Holland created the situation and Southgate exacerbated it. Both should’ve been gone before the Euros. No player deserves being shat in by a coach. How would you like it if your boss shat all over you even when you’re performing well. White was disrespected. Rory and people like him need to just bugger off.
