      Took the £350k pw nothing else. Others would have left .With his extension, no CL, no prem title, maybe the milk cup. Does need to exert himself too much there as nothing to play for.

      Yoro didn't choose Utd over Real. Real didn't bid for him, they wanted to pick him for free next year. They got him over other clubs because they were willing to pay the biggest salary.

      The other players they have brought in either have a question mark over them or they are unproven.

      DeLigt hasn't set the world on fire but he's still young and he's better than the CBs they have. But there's a reason why Bayern were willing to let him go and for so cheap.

      As for Zirkzee, he's unproven and the fullback is unproven. And again, the fullback has gone for peanuts.

      The fact is, they will still be easy to play through, unless they invest in midfield and compared to top 4 clubs, they lack the goals, unless Rashford has a blinder of a season.

      There has been very little scouting, they have gone back to Holland or Ajax to pick players the manager already knows and has worked with.

      A lot of managers might pick up 1 or 2 players but it's 5 ex Ajax players, 2 Dutch players the coach knows well and you could even argue he picked Mount because of his loan time in Holland.

      There are questions to be asked about this strategy but the manager has the players he knows, let's see if Ajax can get into the top 4 of the prem

      At the beginning of his captaincy, the way he played/acted raised some concerns. That said, he picked himself up, proved many of us wrong, and finished strong with lots to build on. May it continue.
