Who would have thought that panic buying Ings on huge wages would have been a terrible idea. Everyone and their dog did. We now get to reap the rewards for that stupidity.
How will the squad stack up for home grown players especially if more foreign signings come in & we offload the likes of JWP, Ings, Antonio etc & with the youth players going out on loan??

After the earlier video by Russ and Anton, I would rather have Youssouf Fofana than Soler. We have to get rid of some of our existing midfielders though. I can't see Danny Ings getting any game time so we need to get him out one way or another.
If Ings doesn’t have a massive loyalty bonus then give him half of the £4.3M left on his contract (what the f’k was Moyes thinking signing him for that salary) and we’ll be done with the Saga

Anyone else notice we have a lot of left footed players and Soler looks like another one.
We have nowhere near enough options up front …. ings will go, Antonio is 34 and not an out and out striker ..nor prolific, he is also susceptible to at least one injury a year that keeps him out for a few weeks….that just leaves Fluckplug… 31, slow and no guarantee he will adapt to the Premier league….we need another striker, we are one injury away from a striker problem…a young pacey explosive striker who isn't over 30 is desperately needed !!!
Soler is quality so JWP has no chance now.Not done much since he scored from corner against Wolves.Soucek may still be able fit in as a sub but I don’t think we need him.

Ings to another club and we offset his salary. Best for all, he gets to play, a club gets a striker and we lower the wage bill.

Letting Ings go on a free with an agreement to subsidise his salary until his contract with us runs out, would leave us open to have our pants pulled down and pay the majority of his wages with no backup if our main strikers are injured or we want to play two up top with Füllkrug & Ings, you never know how their partnership is developing in training.

What is going on with Zouma now? Story has gone quiet. Pretty sure we also now just need to sell a few before considering more players! Love what we have done in the window but maybe we need to wait now till jan and see where we are at.

we need an inquest into who made the decision to give the ridiculous contracts and pin the blame and learn from it…..cos there's a few contracts that will need paying off.
