Yes, I see all the points in this vid. But maybe, secretly, ETH plans to REALLY rotate smarter this season, given the utterly disastrous injury list last time out. But, oh yeah, that looks to be back on already😖
And, it's actually that so-slow as well as far-too-soft CB situation that, above all, worries this fan. I have only seen clippetes of the tour, but again, I cannot feel safe against top teams with Maguire in the back line…I would be happy to be proved wrong, and several You Tubers seem to have more faith than me.
But where on football's good earth would UTD have been without Bruno's efforts in 23-24? – at some point he too will, likely, be out for a while. Zirkzee plus other new blood in the centre and DM eg, I have faith that Amrabat can replicate the Cup Final form, in what will be a better balanced team/squad.
Perhaps then we will see the why Mount is here – as up to now I still don't truthfully see it, either.
Any one else thinking bruno could play in the 6. He has the energy awarnes tackling and game reading better than any one in our team which could free the 10 spot for amad in future
Antony and mount ten hags biggest blunders as a manager
5 things i notoced:
1) evans looked a couple yards off the pace (fair enough given his age) but wont work long term once the league starts.
2) Rashford looks a little more up for it, better body language and trying to make things happen.
3) Created some good chances going forward, the final third/key pass was lacking a little bit but the finishing was so poor, we have struggled with this for ages.
4) Casemiro still looks off the pace, would love for him to get back to destroying.
5) We cannot seem to hold onto the ball when breaking away, liverpools press extinguished alot of counter attacks.
*Side note*: Bissakas tackling is second to none, absolutely quality.. Shame about when trying to find a cross or creative pass going forward.
Mount was a replacement for Eriksen and then he got injured and Mainoo rose to the occasion….He is not a problem he is a very quality player… What do you do with Anthony and Sancho that's a big problem…

Rashford was sharp because he wasn’t scandalously lazy and not totally fucking garbage? Loser mentality, not sure why you put your credibility on the line for a dude who’s a millionaire and can’t be bothered half the time. Do you babe.
Rashford is and was utter crap. He can’t pass has no creativity and offers nothing. Oh and 100% should have scored. He’s in his prime, just wrap
your brain around that. I see why he doesn’t pass now, he has no vision and even simple passes his accuracy is TOTAL trash for a dude who’s been playing football since single digits. Beyond pathetic, he’s not good enough.

Preseason half way around the world with a load of for sale/ available for loan signs around the necks of the squad whist key starters are recuperating on holiday is never a good preparation.

1) Defensive shape poor
2)Midfield lacks creativity
3)Still no style of play
4) Goalkeeper not good enough
5) Team lacks clinical Goalscorers

Next season, United will spend a lot of time playing 4-4-2 with Ugarte (fingers crossed)-Mainoo-Bruno-Mount in the middle. Upfront you can have any 2 of Rasmus, Amad, Rashford, Garnacho or Zirkzee. This cerebral 4-4-2, with skilful midfielders, is the only viable antidote for oponents playing possession based football.
Greenwood never played under Ten Hag. So nothing to do with Antony.
Mount was bought to be what Mainoo became. Obviously, if they could wind back the clock, I don't think they sign Mount at all. When they bought him, ETH said they saw him as an Eriksen replacement basically. It is hard to see where he fits now after his injuries last season & Mainoo's emergence as an automatic starter.
Ten hag fangirls logic : dont judge him for having negative goal difference and finished 8th, dont judge him vs newcastle u18 carabao cup 0-3, dont judge him for losing 7-0, dont judge him for demanding antony and onana, dont judge him for losing 3-0 to relegation battling sevilla.

Asking where Mount fits in instead of where McTominay fits in is actually ridiculous.
The way preseason has unfolded has all the makings of a stodgy start for us and maybe picking up in late September or mid October
Sancho played on the right for Dortmund and soon as he signed for Utd he hasnt been given a shout there …Amad and sancho could box that position off
We currently have Bruno, Eriksen, Mount, Zirkzee, Amad and Sancho that can play the 10/ false 9.
Still look at this team and feel we are nowhere near. I feel this transfer window will fail to address any of the issues we've had. Sancho, Mount, Antony and Rashford had the opportunity to shine and have been underwhelming for the more part. Quality is obvious, and you could see it in how Salah effortlessly goes about his job. United will have sacked ETH by Christmas.
Rashford’s decision making is sooooooooop bad. Such a talented footballer, but his off the ball movement is shocking.
You can tell he no longer trusts his body not to break, when he makes a turn of pace or taking someone on, he usually decided a to pass it…. But the pass is always an afterthought really that a decision…..When was the last time he completed 90min?

I think you have missed the original ETH plan which was Rashford at 9 with Sancho on the right and Anthony on the left. that only left you with Garnacho and Pellistri off the bench with Martial in the treatment room and Greenwood in prison. Amad needed the season on loan.
Mount came in to play in a more fluid midfield 3 with Casemiro and Fernandes until it became apparent his front line couldn’t maintain possession or press to win the ball back high enough up the pitch which left Casemiro exposed on the transition.
So now while Fernandes currently plays every game he doesn’t always play at his best nobody does. If the entire bench had the level of quality as Mount Utd would be in a good place.
Amad cant have 2 good games in a row it seems
I wouldn't mind seeing Fish or Bennett starting some epl matches this season
even Sam Mather looked bright than Sancho

There’s definitely to much analysis going on when we doing deep dives on pre season results smh. Just relax!! we have a community shield game in a week and some are already going off the deep end
Disappointed that it is taking so long to get our transfers done. Both in and out seem to be dragging on and on. Shouldn’t we be ready for the new season and be playing our new players?

Onana is very poor

I actually think we looked a lot better than they did on offense they just finished their chances and we didn't. It also doesn't help when Onana doesn't even move to stop a shot, Casemiro gets cooked on a regular basis and we're starting our 4th string back four.
Amass looks like a world class talent but he is a few seasons away defensively from meaningful minutes for me. Hopefully we can get a couple healthy peak years from Shaw before moving him to CB and bringing Amass in for United and England
Rashford Out
Fans are equally to be blamed for Sancho's signing. I know the board is obviously to be blamed for a lot, but if they had not got the Sancho signing over the line at the time, the narrative would have been completely different. It's obviously much easier to talk about it in hindsight, Ste.
Antony needs to consider playing lb. I think he'd do well especially considering the lack of fitness in that position
AWB and Casemiro were on the pitch for the whole game because they are going to be sold. No need to protect them. Also, Greenwood wasn't proven when we were trying to get Sancho and Antony came in after we couldn't play Greenwood anymore.
Marcus got negative vibes… how many times did Marcus pass to Amass whenever he overlapped? He hates someone from the academy who can surpass him…
Still dont think we'll be able enough to get back into the top 4 this season. Forward line isnt clinical and not defined, and the defence is weaker than last year at the moment (even with Yoro)
