      I've realized that Mount has looked sharp in pre-season. Lets hope that can be carried on to the PL without an extended period on a hospital bed. The Hojlund criticism is really shallow minded by these so call Man United fans. He has not kicked a ball under the new structure and these experts are writing him off despite scoring 16 goals last season.

      Maguire and mctominay maintain standards of decency at the club. Maguire made time to go and greet every single academy player. You know what that means for a young player? In a club full of new and young players you need people like that to maintain the moral standards. I don't want them both leaving.

      If we're keeping players like Maguire for "depth" then be prepared to watch the same crap as last season. He's not "a good backup option" if we want to advance our style of play. These players need showing the door & if they're not ambitious enough to leave then they need to be pushed.

      Unfortunately sales are proving challenging ; as expected with many overpaid players reluctant to leave. INEOS have already shown they will walk away from deals / not overpay but it will take time to rehabilitate our selling abilities ; which should be helped by eventually reseting the wage structure / not giving ridiculous wages anymore. We do need a CM signing asap , last season's biggest issue (midfield) which we have not been able to address at all yet. De Ligt seems to be moving in the right direction , Mazraoui as well. Just seems mostly sales and hopefully into last phase of negotiations with several players (De Ligt and Ugarte etc) holding things up a bit. Do need AWB , Lindelof and Eriksen gone and hopefully can sell some of Sancho , Scott, Casemiro and Maguire. We need to get more sales done for sure.

      The Casemiro interest suddenly drying up from Saudi seems a bit suspicious to me ; would think they are still after star names to try and add legitimacy to that project. I do wonder if Saudi links to other PL clubs factoring into this situation. Surely Casemiro can still do a job if playing in below top level league.
