Man's acting like we weren't trying to sell him to West Ham last year & he refused to leave. 😂 He has zero ambition. Just happy to stay & hold the spot of 4th option at CB. Players like this, hangers on who we can't get rid of, are why we can't raise our standards. Even so many English pundits & even a lot of English fans have made out for years like he's so vital to England's defence that he's irreplaceable yet the defence this Euros was no better nor worse than had Maguire been there. LOL Not saying he hasn't been decent for England over the years but the exaggeration is mad. He's just a mid defender. What's worse is it felt like even when being 4th CB option last season, there was a lot of times he could've played because of our injury woes last season that he himself wasn't available though injury either so what the hell is the point? 🤷♂️
