The Archie Gray saga has reached its conclusion with a very interesting detail involved in regards to the move!
Joe Rodon is set to return in a separate deal which is a big deal for the club as the player rejects Premier League interest to return!

Plus updates on Diego Llorente, Ryan Sessegnon & late in the stream thanks to Bobby in my community – Glen Kamara is a wanted man!

  1. I have to say this seems like a good deal with Rodon in return. I like Gray a lot and would have loved for him to stay but I think Rodon is more essential to the spine of the squad than Archie. It’s just a shame we had to make that choice.

  2. Top bloke Kagey, and I agree getting Rodon is a good outcome. Archie Grey playing for a big London club will probably accelerate his progress with the England teaM STRUCTURE,

  3. I think a lot of fans think that we can remain in this Frank Spencer league and hold onto all our brilliant players. Pinch, ouch, wakey, wakey!!! Even top clubs have needed to sell players they didn't want to. What makes us any different. Promoted and then we have more clout to have a conversation about holding onto them but we need to wheel and deal to help us get what we need. I honestly think the 49ers will do what they have stated. Sometimes as a fan base we are so entitled without considering about towing the line. We have great foundations and are so lucky we have assets that can be sold for £25 million plus. Even the newly relegated teams don't have that luxury. Last season both Leicester and Saints had that. Have a little faith.

  4. We are all sad to see him go but a good deal when you look at price Leicester are getting for Dewsbury Hall. We will defo be getting a RB too.

  5. In terms of who our mvp's were last season; Summerville, Ampadu and Rodon ranked highest for me, so losing Gray for Rodon i can live with, plus Gray covered two positions, now he's gone the club have to fill those positions, preferably a specialist in those areas no more square pegs!! Please!! 😫

  6. do you think we will see a charlie crew stepping up this season and hopefully fill the hole archie has left or will it be bringing someone in?
i always had hopes for lewis bate but never happened for him and now hoping for charlie crew. I've heard good things about him

  7. Thanks for being the voice of reason in a sea of passion merchants some of who I actually like. This is a good deal I am happy about it with Roden if and when we invest in others I will be ecstatic. Cheers Kagey!

  8. All n all it's not a bad bit of business, Rodon who wants to play for Leeds comes back for a good fee. We all know PSR is king but as you've said it's the world we live in now!

  9. Thank you KAGEY 👍👌

Done & dusted & now we can move on 😩😫🙏

Pretty good deal for SPURS though..😱😩😫

I know we get RODEN in return but for £15million? Weren't they trying to sell him to us for £10million 😱

Oh well, RODEN could become a legend at our club… 👍👌🙏

He's been around at quite a few clubs & obviously feels settled with us👌👍🙏

Losing GRAY was inevitable, was always going to happen with our financial instability… 😢

We will always be chasing down our debt because of past owners 😥😥😡😤🙏

It's become common for us to sell our younger talent 😥

    What can we do 😫😩🙏

    Let's see who else going…😫😩

If KAMARA goes then we can get someone that is more attacking hopefully 🙏

Im dying to find out who our first signing or loaning will be 🙏

  10. Now we know that the get out clause has been met, I guess we'll have to await the official breakdown. But I personally would be disappointed if we bought Rodon for £15M, I believed £10M was too much for us in the Championship. Just my opinion.

£40M will count towards PSR regardless of what's been said as all sales do and to a degree the amortised loan payments.

However we do have a player who knows the system but that £15M in this division could have gone a long way towards players elsewhere on the pitch

  11. One channel I like a lot was totally OTT on this – solid views Kagey. This is good for both sides. Let’s move on and address the issues we still have.
