  1. Je suis inspiré par la passion et l'intellect des participants ici. C'est stimulant de faire partie d'une communauté aussi dynamique.💕

  2. Using advanced trigonometry (the grass lines on the field) every angle of LA’s goal looks offsides to me. Also I’m an RSL fan and wish they lost, but I couldn’t believe they didn’t review that one

  3. Not saying it should’ve been a red but revs Dallas in the 36th minute when 2 people run for the ball and one slides in you’ve seen it be called red before but they should’ve at least sent it to var

  4. Not giving a penalty on the Rothrock hit was bad enough, that's a penalty so often. But whatever. But to add the yellow for simulation and then double down on it after the game…that's baffling. Really poor officiating.

  5. Simulation: If nothing else, the way he went down was not consistent with how players typically dive. He didn't layout and didn't roll around. He jumped up pretty quick. So, he either was trying to play through a little contact but lost his footing or he did dive, realized it was a bad dive, and tried to get out of the card. Based on what we see with the limited angles it was the former.

  6. What’s dumb about the yellow on Rothrock is we’ve all watched enough soccer to know what simulation looks like and that is no where near the body movement we see on simulation

Also this is quite literally why we have var.

  7. Nouhou lands on the ball because there is a two-handed shove in the back that put him in that position.

The Rothrock call was especially laughable because Chapman was letting the players absolutely mug each other on the field, rarely blowing the whistle and refusing to book for persistent infringement. To book a guy for getting kicked in the kneecap looked especially bad.

Seriously, Daniel Radford could have reffed a better match…

  8. You can take it to the bank. The Sounders will be robbed by the officials against LAFC. It happens every single matchup against them. I am not sure what Nouhou was doing but in his defense he was clearly pushed in the buttocks or lower back. watch the attacker push with his arms and how Nouhous feet kick up in an unnatural way based on his jump. The LACF player committed a double penalty with nothing called. He takes the legs out from one player with a slide tackle and kicks the next player in the leg. For me it is fair to question the integrity of the ref and var.

  9. I remember when Allen Chapman was considered to be one of the best MLS refs. He should be embarrassed by the game he called (or more correctly, didn't call) on Saturday. Throughout the match he was refereeing like it was 2008, when you'd have to let hulking US college defenders hack away or they'd be playing 8 a side. This is MLS 3.0, players are more skilled, and you need a good eye to keep track, and Chapman no longer has it.
Also, The VAR squad were given the night off for good behavior after the Nouhou call, apparently.

  10. What??? Nothing on the two offside calls in Seattle that weren't called??? You're slacking Andrew. I know you saw my message on twitter too cause you liked it.

  11. You didn't show the angle from behind in the Dallas vs NE penalty that shows the Dallas plyer taking his own teammate out. That's what makes it a tricky call. There's a light shove but Dallas takes their own teammate out at the knees which is what actually brings him down.

  12. 2:30 How TF is that NOT offside? Look at the lines on the field, he's clearly off by at least a foot. Also, the linesman was NOT in line for the call, IDK what Wiebe is talking about. They also didn't cover the blatant handball committed by LA in the 1st half that should've given Portland a penalty. SMH, MLS Instant Replay sucking LA's dick once again.

  13. Not that it matters, but I felt bad for Nouhou as his decision to place his hand down was before Frei pushed the ball into where he was landing.
Nouhou was falling as Frei rolled the ball into where he was landing.
I'm not arguing that it's not a handball. I'm just saying I sympathize as he didn't really have any other choice.
Also I'm not sure what people see when they imply he was shoved.

  14. We (SFC) started this season with so many reds, more than I can ever remember in one season, I was (and still am) wondering if MLS was going g the way of the National Fixed League. But……the Nuhou red looked legit, nothing against the kid, stellar performance, just automatic reflexes. The Rothrock yellow was a joke, bodies were flying all match and Rothrock was clearly kicked, not to mention this squad has been one of the grittiest get up and go after contact in a long time. Proud of these guys.

  15. two matchdays amount to barely 5 minutes of content, i know the mls doesnt wanna look bad, but they could sure help their case a lot by investing in more cameras to fix offside, like seriously how hard could that be

  16. Did Weibe even watch the Seattle match? "No penalty is the call on field," says Weibe, "[VAR] sees that handball and sends Chapman to the monitor." That isn't what happened at all! The call on the field was a penalty, VAR sent Chapman to the monitor to overturn it, and Chapman decided to stick with his call.

  17. skc game back to back fouls first foal scorer. no way he should be on the field. i pulls agada down. then cleats a second player minutes later. two required yellows. second wasnt even looked at. three games with no calls on second yellows directly affecting the outcome this week
