  1. Alvarez won all the possible trophies he could win. Now it's time for new adventures where he would get more valued, feel important and be more influential and improve as well as a player.

  2. Atletico don't have the money to buy him. So I see a 2-year loan which is a win-win situation for all.
    1. Julian will get minutes
    2. City can easily retain him from small clubs like Atletico, rather than from Barca, Chelsea, etc
    3. Atletico will hope Samu Omorodion to take over after 2 years.

  3. Something else that needs to be factored in with Julian Alvarez is that he is very close with his family, and his brother plays for a non-league team in Manchester. Would his brother have the same opportunity in Madrid? Might he stay for another season for his brother?

  4. If the pay is not that far, he should go to A. Madrid. He will be competing against Mbappe, Vini, Lamal and on top he would he the face of Atletico. Those Derby's would be great to watch again.

  5. Pep would leave by the end of this season and Alvarez has won it all so he might be young but he might still be due a new challenge

  6. Athletics is a grave years under that fraud Simeoni…he must he intimidating the owners I to constantly extending his contract because there are no football reasons for it

  7. I just don't get Alvarez. He is not very fast. He can't go past defenders. He can't make any clever or difficult passes. He does not score many great goals. His only discernible skills for me are his pressing and tireless workrate, However I can't deny his numbers – 32 goals + assists in a season are excellent.

But still I wonder how well he will perform without the font of creativity that others players in City or Argentine national team provide.

  8. Would be something, Alvarez been so not smart to renew again, dont get it. Atleti could be nice with Le Normand, Alvarez, Ceballos and a speedy solid winger.

  9. I hope he has got nothing to do with the racist incident recently. The current lot of active players from Argentina needs a lot of education and reformed before finding places in elite clubs.

  10. Danโ€™s personal life must be in shambles and therefore has a need to take it out on the nicest folks on FC. First he disrespects Sebastian and now behaves rudely with Sid. Someone needs to set him straight.

  11. That left eye twitch from Dan the second time he asks Sid to answer is pretty clear he knew what he was doing there… Uncalled for and plain rude…

  12. Alvarez can go to Arsenal you know he wants to play week in week out and arsenal needs a striker. It's the perfect match for both parties arsenal will get a player in their squad who has won it all and you know he can score you goals and Alvarez will get what he wants and that's playing for the starting 11 week in week out.

  13. What do these guys really expect ? You gone to a club that has money to burn who buys everyone ,then this happen. Going to psg ,man city and chelsea is a serious gamble
