Lol I said when they were buying him and letting todibo go they would regret it. He has always been 4th or 5th CB if he was not spanish both him and torres would not be on this team.
They didn’t need Marco alonso, Eric Garcia is a very weak centre back with no presence. I think they could’ve got someone of raphias level or better for less money. The only signings I liked were Lewa and Kounde.

I knew Xavi will not do well when he bought Garcia & Ferran Torres from City. & I thought he already realised his mistake when he bought Kessie & Christensen, but no, he knows nothing. Kessie, De Jong & Ansu Fati should be starting every week. & don't tell me Kessie played poorly the last time; give him 4 consecutive matches & see if he's not going to hit the AC Milan form.

Barca are known for garbage scouting. Always buying players they don’t need out of panic or buying overrated junks that don’t fit in their system. (Coutinho, Griezmann, Dest, Torres, Eric Garcia, Christensen, Raphinha, Bellerin, list goes on and on)
Griezmann and Coutinho were good for their previous teams, both of them been junk past 2,3 years. Nothing special.
Kounde, Kessie and Pedri are the only good purchases, the rest are all garbage panic buys. There is a reason Guardiola rarely ever used Eric and Torres, maybe they sucked and weren’t good enough? Pathetic buys. Compare Barca’s scouting with the likes of Dortmund, Real Madrid. Also, Xavi destroys any momentum with his Spanish favoritism. Busquets, Sergi Roberto should never start a game. He is better off bringing kids from Barca Team B than starting those 2. Doesn’t matter if people are injured.
Apart from lewandowski, and may be Kunde and kessi. What is the so much fuss of barca signings?

You can't have two best players at same position. In the previous match Benzema was injured and madrid suffered 4-0 loss. In modern day football players are exhausted with massive amount of matches
Ok I agree Eric Garcia’s performance in that game was very poor. To be fair he has a history of quality coming from Man City but he’s still just 21 as for his height he’s 6’0 tall while Lisandro Martinez though a better defender is only 5’9”.
Luis Enrique is a smart manager and though he has had little playing time I think he will start Aymeric Laporte in Central Defense for Spain.

I get Garcia is a horrible CB but man that boy's technique elite. If I'm a coach I'm putting him at CDM. Letting a player with that much technique linger in obscurity is an absolute travesty and abomination. Trash him all you like but he deserves to be at Barca. He's just playing at the wrong position for his qualities. As for our spending it's not a problem. The problem is the coaching.
