Although Kane has not been his usual self in this tournament, the team has worked so far and got us to the final, you can’t drop the captain for the final, it just won’t happen.

Huge pressure on hot faves Spain. Our boys will play free & have fun as they are big underdogs. Kane will start. He’s the captain and he’s started every game, to leave him out of the final would be a ridiculous move. Watkins proved he’s a great, alternative option on the bench though which could be massive again

I’d like to see stats for goals scored from open play. Being the teams penalty taker really distorts the goals scored metric.

There is no way in hell Kane doesn’t start 😂 unless he gets a knock or something obviously. He is still our best finisher of course, but longer term now he must be thinking he doesn’t have the pace for what we need. Could see him being the super sub type at the next world cup

Watkins, completely fresh, Harry has played all the games so far, more tiredness will be a factor if harry starts.
Start Kane and Bring Watkins on in second half but not with 10 mins left give him at least 30 minutes. The drastic style change of Kane going to Watkins is a great disruptive ability to have. Ollie Watkins! Do do do do!! 💜💙

If this was the first game of the tournament the observations the Spanish would fer Kane is correct but all these games in they will not fear that they will thank their lucky stars for his form to date. He is a legend of a player but i agree he must have some from of injury he is carrying and playing him for as long as Gareth has has not helped that situation. Big players are needed for big games he needs to be given 30 mins at th end fo a game not 90 mins on current form.
Ollie is an inform player an amazing talent and for me soudl have started every game and can we not forget with no Plamer there was no pass, so no goal, so no final. Kane has also had to come deep to get a ball as he is not getting the service, so start Palmer.

4 Goals against germany in 4 games 2 are penalties, 3 goals against France in 2 games 2 are penalties, 3 goals against Italy in 2 games 1 is a penalty, all his other England goals are against absolute shitter teams and he STILL needs a penalty or a tap in 98% of the time to finish there. He has done the same thing for three tournaments parked himself because he can't run, people were calling for him to be taken off the last euros and he was 4 years younger….. you can't have your only forward be so slow that he can never get in the box when it matters. Hes a tap in master that should have never been made captain because you can't take him off as hes captain. How many more games and tournaments do people want to see him no show for.

Watkins (and Palmer) was so good because he came on as an impact sub and was able to utilise his freshness to catch Netherlands out. It worked brilliantly and arguably these subs are as important as the starting 11. Start Kane and bring on Watkins should the need arise rather than starting Watkins and tiring him out before the end. Keep the Spanish on their toes wondering who might come on for England.
