You're not proving anyone wrong. At all. Many of us said that you are likely to win it but it will be in spite of that manager and not because of it and that you would be awful to watch and mostly poor. Bang on in every single respect so far, sunshine.

Just goes to show how players take on a strong managers mindset. You can't say that Southgate is not a strong manager, he's just a rubbish one.
They are proving us right. Great determination against weaker teams to "get results" (draws), but will get torn apart against Netherlands.
Foden has been particularly dreadful in the "10" role.

Phil has always been one of the best players on the team, if you actually watch the way he moves and his football intelligence, he is usually ahead of everyone else…. The reason he hasnt scored is simply because the 'other' players are not setting him up or playing to his quick passing style, hopefully this changes.. Bellingham didnt pass to him once for 2 games…

If Foden is world class then football really has lost its standard. Messi, Rivaldo, Ronaldo, Zidane, Ronaldinho, Xavi, Iniesta. Those are WC players….Foden is nowhere near them in terms of how he impacts a game of football. Nowhere near!
