What a absolute belter of a game! Ireland has shown themselves to be a potential world class team! I look forward to seeing england v Ireland at some point! 🏴🇮🇪
They’re trying things now that they’d not have been allowed to try during previous managerial regimes, right back to the early and mid 1980’s. And because they’re feeling supported by the manager and his off field team, the more they try to do, the more they’ll succeed. They’re not the finished article by any manner or means but they’re working towards it very nicely indeed.
i have to admit.. the assist and the goal from Obafemi was nothing short of world class and the teams commitment was nothing short of 100%.. good luck to them in the future..
I am Argentine and whenever I can I see the Scottish League highlights. The team I am a fan of, Independiente de Avellaneda, has a very special link to Scotland because of St Andrew Scot School. Also, Craig Gordon has always been a reference for me as goalie. On the other hand, I have always been in love with Ireland, its culture, its history and even the colors of its kit. Perhaps today I am no longer called up but since 2008 I have been following Shane Long and I have not missed a single game in Ireland. Maybe he is not Lewandowsky, but damn, I like that guy, so nice and humble. Now is Obafemi time.

I can't stand the Scots, so I do delight in humiliating them.

Scottish soccer is generally very poor , Ireland will at least get a point in Scotland
Alwa tv s good to see the Scots get beaten handily, which lets face it is pretty routine 😆

What a goal. Well done, Ireland.
How did that work out? It’s a marathon, not a sprint…
I was at the match myself!
Obafemi is nigerian
Is Obafemi an Irish name like OLeary or Oneal, he don’t look irish but maybe he adopted that surname to fit in, am i right or wrong.
