Out of 5 signings of Rodgers (who played at least 10 games), 3 have not done very well. Allen, Borini and Assaidi (not his fault less game time). Most Liverpool fans would say Downing is simply not good enough for a side attempting a top 4 finish, be serious how good is downing seriously. Allen is terrible, he gets booed of the field, he can only pass backwards and sideways. Also don't you ever criticize any Benitez signings – Look who he bought in Torres 20, Alonso, Garcia, Sterling, Reina ect
Allen and borini didn't got enough chance to prove their worth. And you sir are proving yourself stupid because Allen is suppposed to pass side/front and when it is necessary, back. Have you ever played football before? Dont know shiit about football do yah?
As for downing, adimittably he wasn't great at the start but it is also the faults of caroll and the targetmens. What can you do if your targetman doesn't score shit? Ergo no assist. Since the last season, Downing was not Great, but was a quality player providing reliable passing options and quality plays. So STFU if so called "6 year old fan"
It was the right time for all this to happen. Reina will never be forgotten but I know fine rightly that Mingnolet will never be forgotten when he moves on and like Reina he will be remembered as one of our best.

He was slightly lucky the first game, don't ignore that he made a few blunders the first game but the Stoke players never finished them, it would have been a different debut if Stoke took their chances. Also i've seen some decent saves for this guy, but who spends 11m on a keeper, especially if you have Reina. Btw i think Mignolet is good, but not 11m, at the time it made less sense because we had Reina. Anyway we will see how Mignolet performs for the rest of the season not just 3 games.
Key phrase: 3 games, wait for the full season to happen. Every keeper will make mistakes from time to time. Even Casillas, Hart, Neuer and the old Germany keeper Oliver Kahn. Does that mean they are not good anymore because of a few mistakes? It didn't help that Reina had a poor defence in front of him. Again Mignolet is good but not 11m.
