I think at the end of the day , Max has done well in the Premier league. We are weaker now. Mosquera is an unknown . Dawson , well will age catch up with him ? . The other two , very jackal and hide. Good and bad games. So for me they really need to invest in a quality centre half. Without Dawson , the back 4 looked bad.

£40M is really, really good for Max Kilman. My only concern is that we lack a good replacement. I realize everyone doesn't think highly of him but we definitely lack someone as vocal as him as of now, especially since I don't expect Dawson to be starting every game in a back 4 and if we let Mosquera leave. All that aside though, this is excellent business from Matt Hobbs, thoroughly impressed! We've really just made up for the transfers of Lima and Larsen with £2M to spare in one fell swoop!

Mosquera has the potential to to be our centre back for the next 5 years, he is a special talent who just needs games in the Premier league.

If this happens it will be the best deal Wolves made in recent history. Only positive thing about Kilman is that he is english and thus he counts to the homegrown rule. He is not a captain, he has no qualities needed for captain and as we saw time and time again he is not vocal enough for defender, often makes crazy mistakes, very inconsistent etc. So 40 mil for him is a win. I am positive that given enough time Mosqueira and Bueno can become very good centre backs for us. Only thing i am worried about is that we will take the cash from Kilman deal and splash it on some goalkeeper and i can guarantee that no matter which GK we buy even if he costs 40 mil, he won't make any difference and won't be much better than Sa. So if Schmeichel is free and would agree on some normal wage, i would gladly take him as our number one and sell Sa, or if not, then keep Sa and use the money on something else than GK.

I swear every time we sell a player us fans try and make ourselves feel better by saying how bad they are. Same thing happened with Jota when he left, 'hes finished! He's shit now! Great business! etc'. Lets just see the player for what he is, Kilman has been a very solid defender for us. We don't need to say he's shit just to comfort ourselves. Perhaps not an outstanding 'captain'. But nowhere near 'bad' like some of these comments suggest.

Max had his best season under Loppy. 40m is fantastic business. I thought Max didn't have a great season and struggled in a back four. The only decision GON got wrong last season was making Max captain. He is not a captain.
