Liverpool were joined by Darwin Núñez as the Reds continued their mid-season training trip in Dubai earlier today, with the Uruguayan forward the only one of the Reds players who competed at the World Cup to be staying in the Middle East for the camp.
The rest of the players — who all progressed into the knockout phase — will join up with the squad again when they return to England next week, having a few days off in the meantime.
Harvey Elliott was also back in training after picking up a knock against Lyon, as Matt Addison reports.
