Former Arsenal midfielder Stewart Robson has been famously critical of his former club in recent years on ESPN FC, but will the Gunners’ recent transfer activities have him singing a different tune? After a deadline-day move for Thomas Partey, Robson joins Dan Thomas and Alejandro Moreno to evaluate Arsenal’s summer dealings, including a contract extension for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and to make the case for Mikel Arteta’s side as top-four challengers in the Premier League.

  1. These guys are constantly slagging off arsenal " hmm I don't know if manchester united can provide, so yes I guess arsenal can make top 4". As manchester united just spend 80 mils on harry fucking Maguire and loose 6-1 to Tottenham. Manchester United are shambolic so far and aren't going to get far this season, and not knowing if 'manchester united can provide' is a disgusting understatement in my opinion.

  2. the disrespect on xhaka is such lazy punditry its actually unbelievable. In this arteta side hes been an absolute rock- poor guy will never get the respect from these so called "experts"

  3. Pablo Mari was bought in January, why would you add him to this transfer market? That just seems lazy…or there’s maybe there’s a slight agenda?

  4. Stewart Robson is lousy. You immediately get bored listening to him. He speaks aloud and if you DON'T know football you get carried away with that. Empty content. Nothing amazing to keep bringing you back to this platform.

I just wish the anchor could be allowed to choose his own guests who can match his wonderful pedigree. These guys are messing his show up!

We expect something that's shows people are doing their home work and bringing stuff that's not desktop!!

  5. Was arsenal that far away from man united that even when Man united are bad and Arsenal sign thomas partey that they still cant finish above man United ? ..

  6. For Arsenals midfield, I would add Aouar if Ceballos leaves next summer and Dominik Szoboszlai as Ozil's replacement and competition with Emil Smith Rowe. If Ceballos joins on a permanent, I would then sign Aouar or Dominik Szoboszlai as Ozil's replacement. Upfront, I would consider Odsonne Edouard as competition for Laca and Nketiah

  7. Stewart Robson clearly has not watched an Arsenal match in ages. Xhaka has been defensively disciplined for over 2 years. Also, insisting that Arsenal can only get top 4 if Chelsea and United mess up is quite demeaning on the progress Arteta has made in the club. It won't kill you to admit that Arsenal has improved in all areas of the game. Shameful punditry
