I know playing for your country is an honor, but Messi made a commitment to Miami. As long as they are doing well without him, it’s not that big of a deal. However, the more time Messi and the other players are on the field, and at practice together, the better they’ll mesh as a single unit. His absence can mess up the team’s flow. There’s also the risk of injury. I’d be pissed if I was getting a lot of playing time, but was put back on the bench because he returned. If I were Beckham or the coach, I’d talk to him about it, especially since he makes an absurd amount of money. I bet many Miami fans are annoyed by this.
