Ok..lets face it..they weren't going to win against Uruguay. Yes, there was a chance that's why the game is played. What happened against Panama? The team is just not the best…period.
As Panamanian, I have all the Respect for USMNT, Especially for Christian Pulisic, I had a chance to see him play in person, But to be sincere, Im Not Switching sides, It is tough for them getting elimanated early, the Officiating on that game, Uruguay goal it was NOT a Goal, it was Offside, Referee action, UNACCEPTABLE & UNPROFESIONAL, I dont blame Pulisic when he said he dosent want to talk about officiating.
Argentinean here. I thought Uruguay was going to crush the US, but they certainly put up a fierce fight. What baffles me is the loss against Panama. Having two wins against relatively "weak" opponents (Bolivia & Panama) would secure a quarter-finals pass. I think it's a shame. You guys deserve more. But in the end, deserving is not getting.
