  1. You can use technology in a different way. The handball technology is absurd. When a player is running all you have to do is shoot the ball at the hands. The offsides should have a margin of error, because the technology cannot pinpoint 4 cm each way, that should be the margin of error

  2. This translation some places are close to criminal. The very precise explanations he make are lost in translation. I want VAR on that translation, so to speak…..!

  3. Good to see Premier league failures being sent in to ruin the game. I sympathise with the Danes (and the Germans) for the utter chaos and crap we send in from the PGMOL – 3 English refs and one Italian ruined the game

  4. Ahahaha to Blair VAR after that humiliation is really embarrassing…. Not good losers … Germany was the way better team and there are the same var rules for everybody. Everybody accepts it so he has to do it too. + Germany got a VAR disallowed goal too that was skeptical ….

  5. So we got the technology to tell if it’s a legal or illegal goal but we shouldn’t use it that way ? What are we supposed to do ? Say okay if it’s 1 cm we count the goal no matter it is offside and we can prove it ? Sound hella stupid to me cause you are playing for millions of dollars so we have to be 100% correct. And we are he only dislikes it cause Denmark couldn’t score a legal goal. They weren’t close to winning they could have condensed 7 goals.

  6. Does VR really make football fairer? I don't see it that way. As in this case, sometimes it's a matter of microseconds, but is the technology sufficiently precise? At what microsecond is a pass a pass? It used to be said “in doubt for the striker”! Of course there were often wrong decisions, but they were human and there were consequences for bad referees. Now it's getting pretty absurd, it's about the tip of the hair on the fingernail, which may have somehow touched the ball. All these video reviews take away some of the positive, emotional aspects of football, and that's a shame. Above all, how far do you want to push the technical game? I feel sorry for the Danes because they have clearly become victims of technology here.

  7. offside is really a simple question: who was closer to the goal, attacker of defender. it doesn't matter by what margin. if we accept VAR, then there is no discussion. alternatively, you can go back to the time before VAR, where terrible mistakes by refs decided games. which is fairer now? it's a decision by the football community at large, but then don't complain when you get what you voted for.

  8. Nobody talks about how it is possible to influence the VAR. One can easily manipulate digital images to fit with whatever outcome is wished for. If the VAR calls for a check then it's only a matter of milliseconds between offside and onside, easily tweakable. Just forward or rewind a millisecond and choose what you like best.
    Hence a toe nail 😂

  9. Offside is clear, 1m or 1cm Offside is offside. I totally understand the point, that the penalty was very unlucky and a petty decision. But the German goal in the 3rd min was also petty. In my opinion they were not in the best shape and Germany made a lot more to win the match. However unlucky day for Danmark.
    But Germany not won undeservedly.

  10. Bollix…if that handball and offside decision had been given against Germany, we would not have said a word.
Let us also not forget that Germany had 2 goals ruled out.
Offside, is offside and a case of where do you draw the line, 1 inch? 1 foot? 1 meter?….
The penalty would have been the same for any nation.
I agree it really needs to be torn apart and revised, as it is ridiculous, but still…rules are rules, right?

  11. Id be more pissed off with the offside. Its ridiculous. Its not humanly possible for players to have the ability to keep onside by centimeters. They should bring back the one foot margin.
I feel sry for Denmark 🇩🇰

  12. Fifa should review the penalty rules hand ball again..the hands should be the palm & finger areas & below the elbow area ..above the elbow the arm should not be a penalty..this make football the most stupid games or sports in the world for that kind of situation..

  13. What a clown. Denmark, you could do better than THIS. Was für ein Kaschper, with smartphone evidence 🤦‍♂️ SMH

Back in the days, the defense was praised for sending forwarders offside.
These days, the forwarders feelings gets hurt if he isn't miles into the offside zone.

  14. Surely, offside is the one thing we can all agree on that there is no grey area. Either you're offside or onside, whether it's by 1 metre or 1 centimetre. Offside is offside. As tight as that was, he's offside. If being offside by one centimeter still counts as onside we create a grey area, and where does that grey area begin and end?

  15. I agree and I thought about a solution other than cancel VAR, which I'd prefer btw. So here's what I've got.

The offaide rule stands as is when it comes to the on pitch ref decission. The VAR is only allowed to overturn the decission when the attacker is at least one foot or 30cm offside. Is it closer the devission stays as ruled by the ref.

My 2 cents but then at least this discussion could end. And the next one may start 😉

  16. The offside goal was an offside. Doesn’t matter by how much. Now that they have brought in the technology once you’re off you’re off. Penalty is a joke. Hand ball should only ever be called if its clearly not ball to hand or if there’s an obvious outstretched arm. That’s not hard to judge. That said, the Danes didn’t win a match and Hojland had so many chances against Germany. Deserved to go out

  17. Nah offside is offside. Whether its 1mm or 100. I have no issues with it. The handball was tough though, unfortunate, but by the letter of the rule it was probably the right call.

  18. I think Kasper is doing a great job for so many years now.
Danemark dealt so well with Germans after first 15-20minutes . Germans looked really really lost untill that controversial desisions .

  19. This game was BLATANT ROBBERY. That toenail off-side was ridiculous. Probably the technology error margin is over 5 cm considering you have to consider 3 different bodies in motion: the ball at the moment it is hit, the last defender, and the forward. Next time they´re going to call off-side because a piece of the shoe´s sewing thread is off-side.
