  1. Southgate is so negative and he won't let the players thrive with the creativity they have. Slovakia should be a no brainer but if we get more of the same from southgate it will be like watching paint dry, no fluidity, no threat in the final third and a penalty shoot out at best. It really takes the piss.

  2. Kane is like Andy Cole scores for the club team but when it comes to internationals needs 100 attempts to score 1.
Southgate talks but says nothing, as far as he is concerned England are playing as he directs them. Drilling for oil is less Boring.
Kane explains why he wouldn’t be picked for the Kings Head Sunday League football team

  3. 9:45 “ Ignore external advice…” Notice his body language here…..crosses his arms in a defensive posture and then he looks like he feels safe. His default setting to threat is to go defensive. His team play like this. It’s a telling moment. It shows his conservative , “ don’t change “ philosophy. He has a point about consistency , but he’s forgotten that you have to adapt quickly in football and the game moves on. He talked about the “ jeopardy “ of knockout tournament football , as if there’s a fear of losing.

What he’s forgotten is that in a tournament like this , even the favourites are up against it because you can get knocked out at any point by a good team , a red card , a bad ref decision , a deflection etc. There can be only one winner and some great teams will not win this tournament. Far better to throw your dice into the ring and give yourself a chance. Play to the extremes. It’s better to be unpredictable and less consistent. For example . Italy have crashed out playing really badly and they have also had problems qualifying for World Cups , but I doubt they care too much because they won it in 2021. Italy in the past have played really badly at times and failed , but at other times their football has reached glorious heights that have enabled them to win big time ( eg WC 1982 WC 2006 ). Basically what I’m saying is that you don’t win anything by consistently getting to semi finals / quarter finals or even finals. Think about it. Englands record of qualifying for tournaments might actually be better than Italy ( certainly recently ) , but who cares. They don’t. Boring consistency will not win you tournaments very often. What wins tournaments is reaching those heights for a couple of weeks ( and a bit of luck ). Maybe England and the public just need to accept that it’s ok to try things and mess up. If England failed to qualify for the next World Cup and then failed to get out of their group at Euro 28 and then won the World Cup in 2030 , I think every England fan would bite your hand off. Think on it. The problem is that the English media and fans would give the team such a hard time before it happened. England have to play without fear , almost expecting to lose at some point , but also giving themselves a shot at that one moment of glory. That isn’t going to happen by playing Gallagher with Rice and leaving Palmer / Gordon / Mainoo on the bench. Throw your dice into the ring Gareth ! We will forgive you if it goes wrong.

  4. Why do they keep saying "erm" and not speak naturally? Its so weird!! They think they are as important as presidents!! Its disgusting really

  5. "achieve what we achieved" 😂😂 NOTHING!! that's why people laugh at you now! All the richest players in the world and have the easiest games and still don't win!! 😂 Useless! Kane and Bellingham are the most damaging

  6. All these negative comments achieve nothing and are only a reflection of those making them if you want them to win you get behind them and I'm pretty sure as the No2 ranked coach of England all time Gareth gives his players confidence to play as they progress now to the business end of the tournament .
Yes the plan was to carefully go through the group which they did finishing top and no one should be crying about that ! to win these tournaments you need to play your best game and score the most goals in the final but first you have to fight to get there.
Those of you who weren't there to watch England beat West Germany in 1966 are probably thinking will I die before seeing England win a tournament 😂 we'll all the more reason to support your team as every single person in England did in 1966 and there was no stopping them on that day at Wembley as the country United as one….

  7. "Senior player have show great leadership." ?? He has clearly watched 3 different games to the rest of us. There has been absolutely no leadership on the pitch.

  8. uummm……bla bla …….uummmm……bla bla……ummmm = "i'm slow, wooden, and come too deep." Body language from both is all FEAR. Weakest mentality in any England camp ever.

  9. Southgate seems to have forgotten that it is also the player's role to lift the Fans and if he insists on playing without runners there is NOTHING for the Fans to get excited about!

  10. Pep would be lickjng his lips seeing all these players in the same squad 😂.

Let Pep Guardiola lead England to their first major trophy this century.

  11. Perhaps you SHOULD get a crate of beer out Gareth, and celebrate occasions a bit more. Brian Clough was a master at relaxing his players before crucial games. These players, look like they are playing games, with lead boots on! Give some slack, and let good players, have some freedom on the pitch, and show their natural qualities. 🤔🙏🏻🙏🏻

  12. England fans pushing that loser mentality. Southgate wants England to win, and he wants to leave a legacy. Irrelevant to his style of football, that's a fact. I'm backing him until the end of the tournament. Real fans will do the same

  13. 5% off? Wow, we are doomed🤣 Strangely, I actually believe we will win quite easily today and that our skills will overcome the very well organised Swiss team.
