I played football with John when he was about 17 ,,he was like maradonna against us,,and such a nice lad,, very friendly
For what he has done for sport in Canada, John Herdman deserves a statue. Carrying the entire soccer federation with only the women's program, and then reviving the seemingly un-revivable men's program. His work has set Canada soccer on a path that I never imagined we would one day see.
