  1. Denmark was a “good result”. Exactly what you would expect from a player battling relegation all season. This is the problem.

  2. Not getting nothing out of Jordan… he sees football as just a job like any other… the hype the media People's opinions it's outside noise to him therefore totally irrelevant… the guy's from the north east are so down to earth and they never let England down

  3. What did you expect, a real spontaneous interview? lol He's giving rehearsed responses carefully analyzed and put together by their PR people. Even so, the final edit would have never been posted without the strict approval of the FFA. As for the Three Lions bouncing back, I firmly believe in miracles.

  4. Quite a negative interview. Constantly probing about the current line up and tactics of one game. Whilst I understand the performance against Denmark was poor, constantly reminding the players isn't going to fill them with confidence for the next one.

  5. Great keeper but tell him that he is no Platini. He gives the ball away every time he kicks it forward. With respect, this is not Everton. Pass to your defenders.

  6. English football national team have no style of play. Boring football. English players are good when they play alongside with foreign players. Overrated players. Pope is a better goalkeeper than Pigford.

  7. A battling relegation goalkeeper is England #1 keeper. Pope? Ramsdale? England will lose in the last16. If Iceland can beat them then any team can in the knockout stage.

  8. this is a really uncomfortable interview to watch… he keeps saying that they're trying to stay calm and not let the negative press get to them, and the interviewer keeps telling him about the bad press and indirectly criticises the team. outside of football, this is a really weird thing to do. sometimes, interviewing someone is meant to make them uncomfortable in order to make them answer for their actions. england players don't owe anyone anything from their performance. let me repeat: they don't owe you anything.
