  1. Kalvin phillips is a cdm probably better than rice at defence, need to attack all he cares about is getting one goal and tryna defend it.

  2. Calvin Phillips next to Rice almost made history. Englands midfield was the best midfield partnership for 50 years. When Phillips came off England lost. But trying to experiment with a right back and not an actual midfielder is strange. Trent is excellent at playing the ball forward to players like Saka or Salah but clearly midfield awareness isn't there. Mitchell not available is criminal.

  3. You have some one of the calibre of Kobbie Mainoo in the squad who is the biggest talent to ever come out of English Football and Southgate still says that England have problems in their midfield and he chooses to play a Right-Back in Arnold in midfield instead of bringing on Mainoo. When will the FA realise that they need to get rid of this guy ASAP! England will never win anything as long as Southgate is in charge. They should sack him in mid tournament just like how Germany sacked their previous manager during a major tournament before.

  4. Any manager who brings on Bowen, Eze and Gallagher instead of Gordon, Palmer and Mainoo…is absolutely brain dead.

  5. Kane was crucified for hardly being involved against Serbia and now he’s being crucified for being too involved against Denmark

  6. Adam- when England was out and when GS linked with MU, you were all praised about Gareth. Now what happened? Has he been bad to you lately? That's why I do not want to hear you guys nowadays and EtH was right in his post match interview with Alan and Sir Gary.

  7. 7:27 Staright facts someone remind Harry Kane THIS IS NOT TOTTENHAM! England have quality passers of the ball. I’m always yelling at the TV for him to get the hell out of the way he drops way too deep

  8. Catterall talks a lot of nonsense. How do you know Southgate has poor in game management? This is your opinion, not a fact. Secondly to think that Alexander Arnold who is a generational talent couldn't play central midfield is nonsense. Ruud Gullit started as a centre half. The problem could be that Kane and Foden are not willing runners like at Liverpool. These clowns who think they know more than Southgate and the other coaches are inflating their own importance.

  9. Who have we ever beat? An oap version of Germany? Sweden? Southgate’s done nothing and his negative style has robbed this golden generation of a trophy.

  10. This would be my team
LB: Saka LCB: Stones RCB: Walker RB: Trent (Can drift into midfield when Bellingham advances… Kyle Walker pace to push the back four up the pitch and cover Trents perceived defensive deficiencies)
CDM: Rice CM: Bellingham (With license to burst forward, Declan Rice then sits like he did for West Ham) (Then you'll have Stones/Rice/Walker almost as a back 3 with Saka and Trent out wide.
CAM: Foden (started LF every game but looks dangerous every time he' comes inside and is within the width of the box)
    LF: Gordon
    RF: Palmer
    CF: Watkins

In my head this team and taktikz would rip teams apart !!

  11. The fact he's playing Bellingham and Foden when its blindingly obvious they can't both play in the positions they need to tells you how weak he is ; too weak to drop high profile players.

  12. I have been sympathetic to Gareth Southgate these past several years, but that post-match comment about Kalvin Phillips was simply baffling. It truly shook my confidence in the manager. I think Gareth was perhaps in shock at what he had just witnessed on the pitch and he made a loose comment that even he must now admit sounded utterly ridiculous.

Anyway. Let's see what the lineup is this Tuesday. And I hope the lads do step up with pride and this time, finally, they play wirh high energy and PASSION.

    Come on England! ⚽ 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🇬🇧

  13. You’re so wrong , more people have switched off watching & supporting England since Southgate become manager ! Want proof look at tv audiences & out in the street … where’s the England flags?? Ok government have done a job on us English but Southgate is equally to blame !!

  14. Why do I only see these two whenever England play shite, which invariably has been more often than not since they beat Italy 3-1 in October.

They must have a tough time paying the bills

  15. Really good analysis but its pretty basic stuff.. but playing the inform players in there best position is only half of it…. Theres also no tactics whatsoever being applied on the pitch..

  16. Southgate's credit in the bank ran out after we lost to Italy in the final. His been on borrowed time ever since, he needs to be sacked asap. No more excuses to explain his failure, his an awful manager end of.

  17. “You’ve had two strikes we need to get it right this third time round” completely glossing over that it’s now strike 4 🤔🙄🤡🤣

  18. What? Wharton isn't a replacement for phillips? He is monumentally better. He can tackle, his pass rate for England, is 100%. What more does he have to do.
