your ride is looking good ,man. I added an auxiliary oil cooler on my 2003 after the dreaded engine replacement. just picked a cdl t case and linkage for yhe next project. It does get addictive doesnt it?
Hey Jack, the rig looks great! I especially like the rear LED lights mounted in the body. I'm going to take that idea for my 03. Thanks for the update, looking forward to the next one.
This is very cool. You oughta' open your own shop for the bumpers….but you'd be too busy to enjoy the Rover! I just took those huge front and rear ARB bumpers off my red '01. Have you got details of how you installed those rear back-up lights? Keep up the great work and thanks for volunteering. You are a great American.
Hi , I watched the part 1 video where you said you did away with the rear washer and wiper and I can’t recall you giving us a reason. I’m driving a Discovery 3 now for the last 11 years but before that I had a 2001 Discovery 2 and from what I remember it’s as bad as the D3 for throwing dirt onto the rear window and I would really miss that rear wiper for normal road driving. Maybe it’s to do with the oversized spare but let us know. Anyway , love the videos and I’ve subscribed, best of luck from County Laois, Ireland 🇮🇪, Ruaidhrí
Great update and excellent mods mate. Does your truck have CDL fitted yet? You'll notice a massive difference when you do , if you allready havent. Combine the CDL with the Traction Control and they're damn near unstoppable. And when you add lockers, streuth (pronounced 'strooth'), it'll be a bloody mountain goat! lol. Enjoying your video's. Cheers for sharing. Atb, Brett, Australia. D1 Driver 🙂
Ive got a disco 2 2003! love my disco has about 137k on the 4.6 and going strong im wondering if i should have it rebuilt before the liners decide to fall out.
I keep expecting people who saw your truck before your earlier and current mods to ask me if I have your truck — mine has similar issues, same year, same color and I drive it to our house on Ochlokonee Bay every couple of weeks at least. So – if anybody says they saw your truck at Crum's Mini Mall or Posey's in Panacea, but it had stock bumper and bull bars on the front, it was probably me.
Hey mate, well done on the build! I have an 04 D2 with the same Terrafirma kit installed last week. Not a bad set of springs and shocks so far. Been really happy to find someone who does not throw money at their build, but time and thought. One question: do you have a duel battery setup for your winch and accessories?
Ik this is an old video but i live like right where you do and have a 04 disco 2, and go offroading quite a bit. I haven't been able to find any other land rover owners to off-road with, just jeeps that I constantly have to winch out of the mud. Idrk if you still respond but if you do got any advice on finding some rover owners nearby? Again I literally live twenty minutes from Eglin

have you considered a Chevy conversion before replacing with a land rover block?
