I am from Argentina I watched and played football my whole life. I want USNMT to succeed! My take on this is that the USA finally has competitive-level players. I watched the game against Colombia. From my perspective, it was clear that there were coaching issues. The way the defense is organized, and most of all the tactical proposal by the coach is horrible. He Is not minimally harnessing the talent of their players.
Just hire an Argentinean coach as most of the Copa America teams, or an European Coach.
Marsh and the Canadians held France to a scoreless tie. Why did we not hire that guy?

Here is the USMNT problem: We stink.
Colombia is playing exceptional football. They’re 3rd place in Conmebol’s World Cup qualifiers; 5 points ahead of 5th place Brazil whom they defeated 2-1 in a come-from-behind win. More importantly, USMNT were more focused in making a LGBT statement than a football one. Colombia pounced and b1tch-slapped them 5-1. It should’ve been at least 9-1
Why so upset? Berhalter is getting paid to beat Mexico over and over and he's doing just that. U.S. talent doesn't allow for more period.
US Team doesnt play well together, doesnt matter what kind of talent without cohesiveness. Berhalter isnt the only to blame, but hes not good enough to coach this team.

The only way Colombia gets respect is to win more tournaments. They are sitting very well for this Copa América. I remember Copa 2001 which is the only one we have won. As far as the critics, they can continue, doesn't mean a thing! To compare the talent from SA to North and Central America, has always been a joke to me anyway..Pa'delante Colombia!!
