Clearly offside. Regardless, Van dijk sold his football soul when he refused to backup his manager Louis van gaal when he called the last world cup rigged. By doing that, he not only made Van gaal look like a fool, but he also gave further legitimacy to the last world cup, which was not only fixed, but a disgusting cocktail of human rights violations and broken promises. People say Van dijk hasn't been the same since injury. I think he's just lost his passion.

Absolutely wrong Mr Van Dijk…. as a goalkeeper, a former referee and independent viewer immediately called it offside at the time. The keeper had no chance even to try for it, as the player occupied that diving space….. he had already pulled off a tremendous reflex save earlier so how anyone could call that shot unstoppable tghey have clearly not played the game to any standard…… without the player there we would have seen if it was unstoppable but since he was there we cannot know…. therefore 'offside'. So for all those referee bashers or biased viewers supporting the Dutch move on.
