  1. Eze, Calafiori, Gallagher + a striker (Gyokeres or Gimenez good enough? rather not Toney) would be a great transfer window. With Dragusin and Calafiori in the back four, we could experiment with Romero or Porro as a 6. Keep Skipp for the homegrown/club-trained quota and try to play him as a multi positional understudy and bring some of the academy boys up as well.

  2. UEFA are saying that Utd can't buy Todibo, makes that an interesting target again. Nico Williams playing a blinder for Spain yesterday does make paying for him more of a challenge. What do you think of 'The Turkish Messi', Sean? 19 years old, beautiful left foot. Hojbjerg outplayed Rice yesterday, which does make a transfer fee differential of Β£90m a bit ironic, doesn't it?

As for Calafiori and Ederson, one tends to suspect that Paratici knows the score with both of them. He'll know if a deal is possible or not, so the club won't be wasting their time on dead ends there.

  3. Great video mate. Covering so many topics/players and ensuring we are kept up to date with the latest events. I fully appreciate the research and burning of midnight oil that you do in order to bring us such comprehensive reports. I just hope this window takes a different format to the usual last minute bargain basement deals and we sign people the manager genuinely wants and that the club needs in order to push forward next season.

  4. Jonathan David is a very good player he is the burger league I get that it's not the most strongest legue.lille are defensive team not a very good attacking team.. I believe if he in a better team which create more chences I believe he will be very good player

  5. The big clubs don't give two fcks about the FFP and PSR. We can't compete with oil money. If we can't beat them join them Hope Sheikh Jassim buys Spurs . His oil money will get us top quality players and improve the squad drastically.

  6. Sean, taking finances inro equation. whats your thoughts on Summerville of Leeds? He really impressed under Bielsa and is looking real class. Looking better than Johnson. He plays both wings. Good on both feet. Better overall attributes than Johnson. Leeds need to sell players. Summerville would be perfect rotation on the right.

Still 22 as well. And did well when he was younger in the prem during Leeds time there.

In the future could be Sons successor.

  7. Just how many centre half’s do we need ? – already have Romero, Van De Ven, Dragusin, Davies, Phillips, Dorrington – money better to be spent on Eze & Toney rather than Calafiori ?

  8. IMO we should attempt to sign calafiori and geertruida this summer. Defence = sorted for years.

Sign a proper striker that has presence and a young winger with blistering speed.

  9. On Weston, from a Villa POV the latest is that Juve and Villa are both motivated to get this deal done with or without Weston. So far looking like two young talented players plus cash. As for Weston, I am keeping my fingers crossed he has talked himself of being part of the deal. Not particularly impressed with his consistency of play nor attitude.

  10. Chiesa is a head down player and greedy, and screams like a baby everytime he's tackled. Hasn't played that well for Italy since they beat England in the last Euros final.

  11. Sean, your research in to domestic Trophies being won over the last 75 years and then video/conversation with JonnyH3232 was excellent and fascinating. Well done.

Please could you do a similar one but this time base it all on Tottenham, from our inception of 1882, all our owners, trophies won per owner, most successful factors in winning trophies, like money spent per owner, transfers, all patterns in winning trophies etc etc (youre the expert here) and then based on your findings, rank all of our owners in to a league system.
    Please. Make. This. Happen.

  12. great content as always. appreciate the timestamps as i can't waste too much time watching transfer news. chiesa sounds like a great idea. get him in!

  13. Sean done your like even though I am late.Sean rather have Giminez . Is he cheap that's why Levy will go for him. .Ange has Ambition for the club Levy hasn't.

  14. Big clubs work around FFP.
    Levy hides behind FFP.

We will never succeed with him/enic around.

Even if City and/or Chelsea get punished, they'll go away and find a new way around the rules, come back and do it all again.
And we'll be 20, even 30 years without a single meaningful trophy.

  15. We’ll end up with average players yet again! Levy doesn’t take too many on pitch risks! Raises the hopes of fans only to be let down once again. 😒

  16. Great Vid Sean. FFP seems to be pretty tough to communicate effectively, & I think you do this better than anyone on this platform. Would love some context around requirements for home grown as well – am sure it's on the list! Any word on Archie Gray at this point would also be appreciated – would seem with Leeds FFP issues that sooner might be better than later.

  17. David is not THE solution but part of it he and En-Nesyri along with Richi provide us with fully stocked striker Department where each of them can score 15 goals inma season , David fox in box, En-Nesyri target striker, Richi multifaceted

  18. First line Bentancur 6 Eze 8 Maddison 10,
Second line Bissouma 6 Sarr 8 Eze 10
Third line Hall 6 Bergvall 8 Donley 10 Dont think we get Ederson given Atalanta in CL and his importance – Bentancur Bissouma with Hall should be good enough

  19. Jonathan David in the right team is a consistently good goal scorer. But he is not at his best with our national team. Hojbjerg is doing his best to show his skills to scouts. Emerson to Milan talk has cooled. *****Wow, Olise is going to Bayern!

  20. Hey Sean, a bit late to the party with this, but have a google for "CIES Football Observatory Defensive work by forwards", then filter by European big-5 leagues (you might need to click on Full Data first). Jonathan David is 5th in that list. Son and Richarlison are 1st and 2nd. Suddenly makes the J. David links make a bit more sense.
