Gregg Berhalter has proven he can’t win with the USMNT even though we have the most talent we’ve ever had. Will he be fired if we embarrass ourselves in Copa America?

  1. CONMEBOL is not CONCACAF. The US Euro players are good but they're not the stars of their team, they're background. The 5-1 loss showered the USMNT with reality, you've been protected in a bubble to secure revenue, if anything this should be the moment the US says F the bubble let's go compete outside.

Will Berhalter get fired, if he passes the group stage they'll settle with him to the World Cup, after Copa America it's Nations League to drown away the past.

  2. I feel like US Soccer will keep him. I hate to say that, but I feel like the USMNT can finish rock bottom in the group and they will still want to keep him until 2026. That’s how little confidence I have with the USSF decision making.

  3. Honestly that game was embarrassing Greg Berhalter is not the coach us needs he hasn’t prove anything with the tools he has but I’m assuming he is politically tight with the US FA just like Gareth South Gate . If they would get a manager it would have to be someone in Europe bc the whole line up plays in Europe . MLS level coach would have no clue to play tactically with tools he has bc the quality of players .I think outsourcing a coach would be good idea bc futbol is changing and Greg isn’t moving with the change

  4. Love seeing the sport grow in your nation. My prediction for 2050 (or a little later) American football is going to decline, rebrand itself and most importantly give up its name to the real football of the world 😁😁. How is this related to this friendly that was played? It isn't except somewhere deep down the competitiveness inside the U.S. will wake up and it will start paying attention to what the rest of the world is doing

  5. If GGG loses/ties against Bolivia or Panama in the CA group stage, I don’t see how US soccer can justify keeping him on. This game officially puts him on the bubble and a strong finish in CA is now mandatory.

  6. Usa definitely loses to Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Uruguay no matter which coach they have. At the moment they can’t beat Ecuador or Chile either. It’s a 50/50 against Venezuela. USA can beat Paraguay and Peru but it won’t be easy. They only comnebol teams USA can beat for sure is Bolivia. lol. If USA had Joaquim lowe as coach I can see them beating the bottom half of comnebol but they will still lose to the top 4-5 teams for sure.

  7. I'd rather watch NWSL and it's not even close. Not a knock against the women either. All of women's soccer is extremely compelling right now. I'm just glad I didn't waste an afternoon watching the men get destroyed at home. I agree with your video here.

  8. I love what Hercules Gomez said “ you gotta point fingers at people that put him [Berhalter] in charge. Who are the people the people that put him in charge; gave him a second chance.”

  9. Pulisic Is Promoting Gregg Berhalter That He is A Good Coach For His Own Benefits,Then Gregg Berhalter Favors His Boy Friend Pulisic In Forward No 10 Position Plus Caption And What Pulisic Is Doing Cant Seat On the Bench.

  10. With a team like this, they shouldn't get rocked the way they did against Colombia. Berhalter should be terminated, and be replaced with Jurgen Klopp. A golden generation of these players need a world class manager/coach like Klopp. Not a bum like Berhalter. But knowing the federation, getting out of the group stages would be enough for them to keep Berhalter until the end of the world cup cycle, and that would be sad, plus disaster for a core of group of guys like these. Especially since the U.S.A. is co-hosting the tournament.

  11. My advice to my American friends. They will have to learn that the game is NEVER played on paper!! Do not dis-respect your opponents in your pre-game analysis like what Alexi Lalas is fond of doing. You are only making the work of the opposition easier by motivating the opposing players to stick it to you. Colombia is TOP TIER Nation. Don't let the pre-gamers mislead you. In any tournament, there is an unbelievable number of teams who want to win it. Holland ,Portugal, Belgium etc have never won the World Cup despite them being top-tier football Nations. USMNT will have go thru them if they even dream of winning a World Cup!! Even if the USMNT were to parade the finest group of players in the world, they may not win anything. England are just finding out. At the highest level, it's a game of fine margins… A bad pass. A bad tackle. A hand ball. Loss of concentration. All the stars need to align… I understand the frustration with Mr. Berhalter. But if you expect to win a World Cup you will go thru coaches like Manchester United are doing right now.
