a lovely chat about Romania versus Ukraine it’s currently Romania won Ukraine nil first half I mean it was a good first half really a good first half a great goal scored um to put Romania uh one nil up in the end I think Ukraine have had the better chances um or definitely been in the better positions the final ball has been nowhere near good enough um and when they have had chances to take the shot they’ve really not um done well with them uh I just feel like yeah they’ve not R tested the Romania goalkeeper really like all the shots feel like they’ve been off Target so um yeah I think with the effort that with the effort that went in they deserve to won to up in Romania yeah solid Blake says we’re back Rebecca Challenger yes we are back um they’re back we are back the boys are back in um I think he is a player that is underrated um and his inj like it’s weird because obviously he went through his time at Chelsea never getting injured yeah then the final season he started to pick he picked up like a couple um and now last season for Man United was awful like f did he did he play more than 12 games um Ukraine here playing a little bit of football and nothing great tackle um Bost him absolutely Bost him um and so yeah no next year I think United have a really good play in their hands like they’ve got someone that can play several positions um someone who I think does the the simple stuff really well uh what what level of player he can now go on to he’s like 20 is he 25 now um so you’re starting to see kind of what he is but it’s still definitely not a bad player like when he went double he went double goals and assists when he was at Chelsea um he he’s a really solid player um I think overall overall it was a good move um for everyone in the end um and I think you will whether we see him whether we see him in the England squad again I think be interesting yeah because we’ve got some crazy players coming in and also like depends who the new manager is who his favorites are and stuff um but overall yeah I I think um he’s a really could play yeah I was thinking that even with like someone like Harry MaGuire like now he’s missed out on this tournament yeah and and if Mark Gay can have a good performance next to John Stones really I thought he was really good yesterday as well so good I think and if he can be a bit more athletic and mobile uh first substitutions for Mania com and a man coming off um and [ __ ] coming on here he comes um I think Ma Matthew mcfam was telling us about his time at Rangers not the not the most appreciated there yeah I think it’s I always think it must be really tough to be like especially for him essentially their greatest player of all time is his dad Romania but I always think like about Zan’s got like four sons that were in football goalie Wonder goalie I think for the I think that’s so smart in Spain somewhere uh I don’t know if he’s in the second division he went on loan so smart you know but I ain’t going to be able to replicate what my dad’s done I’ll go in that I’ll go that um but I always think like it must be so difficult and so when you see like tram’s obviously Marcus teram who the son of lilan teram um playing into well must be must be crazy triple substitution for Ukraine and Y malenko’s coming onto the field he must be in we’re talking like he’s demanding a bit more he’s saying needs it yeah definitely this he needs to smash into someone they’re almost feeling a little bit sorry for themselves I think um right now the way they’re playing like you they possession wise and throughout the game have been the better team they’ve conceded two long shots yeah um that were some great finishes as well um how how day 88 uh says if Ted B Todd Todd Bley Ted found a loophole of having two Saturdays a week he would have uh then is that is that a bad comment where that one there understand it known as I don’t really know what it means but I think he basically thinks they’ve not done uh not done a good job right yeah he would have tried it um yeah I mean I I obviously Chelsea go from winning the Champions League to um not being in the Champions League is a it’s a downside um he definitely trying some interesting approaches like I think the the loopholes that people say are also loophole the contract one was actually quite interesting the loophole is obviously about like the selling um uh the hotels to our like the second companies like that that’s all stuff that’s been in football for years like ason Villa sold their Stadium to themselves we did it to God knows what the compan exactly but it’s it’s also like how the media represents it and it’s like Suddenly It’s this massive thing that you’ve never heard of before and like it’s ruining football and stuff like that um but yeah no I think I basically think uh we’re getting to a couple like this season I think you can now really start to judge on how things have gone because maybe Chelsea have this next season and things go really well and they finish top four and and playing good football and what was did the thing come out with him with B about him um Ukraine go close Areno straight away making imp with um is he like not going to be on the board or making the decisions I think long term he was always saying like people he’s almost used a little bit like like he actually still doesn’t do that much now no like it’s almost like because he is the big name in the face he gets L to do a few interviews like he gets a lot of the attention he doesn’t really do as much now there are a lot the other boys that do a lot more um not he’s got a million different businesses so like with the other boys are like fully focused on Chelsea yeah um and so so yeah I mean they he deals with it at a level that I would never understand and that a lot of us would never ever understand unless we own the football club um I I think when they came in I said at the time like this isn’t a thing that we can judge them on a season it’s thing that we judge over three or four maybe five um and then we can look back and go from there but also football’s so fickle like Chelsea if Chelsea have a good season next year and finish in the top four everyone suddenly goes oh I think the plan working the plan’s working then isn’t it um if they don’t then everyone goes well still a mess and so uh I just think all it as as actually shown by poino situation one month of good football changed everyone’s opinion and like that’s that’s just I think football and a nutshell it’s true a it because you always think of the will help with VAR a lot yeah I I think VAR should exist I think it’s used badly in the Premier League um and I think offsides is always this one of one of the decisions that become so like overs obviously you see the popularity girlfriend T it’s so good get them in a room together it changes it it’s like it feels like you’re playing real life football and and the celebrations you’d have after scoring a 90th minute winner to stay in like division 2 or something well there was one I remember you scored a last minute winner or equalize it and oh that was just AB the the absolute I think the peak of it was like in the 70th minute we were 3-1 down that was it to win we went to win 43 um and we ended up like yeah piling on each other and just ABS memories of a lifetime oh I will happily like I’m still Keen to possibly bring it back in some way shape or form but um it’s uh it was a good it was and that was probably perfect office to do it and then getting your eight PlayStations in there literally literally like we’d finish up for the day’s work and then we’d be like okay it’s time to record Squad goals um set it up I tell you what though got hot did it hot in there yeah didn’t watch it really big one on our podcast is looking at the referees and and you know hold them to account and it was just so we were like oh VR has been great so far everything’s been good been attentive and then it was Michael Oliver and just like I think he applied the rules correctly for the the retake of the penalty but then uh well the non- retake but then I just felt rogy should have been sent off because it one of them ones where you just take someone’s feet you know you’re never going to get the ball and it wasn’t a clear is football though not like for instance there are certain rules of football that are uh not subjective the opposite subjective uh objective yeah um and like like for instance offside uh goal line technology those are either is or isn’t um there are other side of football where I feel a little bit more Sympathy for the refs where it is just a level of I don’t think that is like for instance you think that is a red card purpose like sometimes your disagreement with the referee is just based on his opinion not actually that he’s reing it technically badly yeah but I think that comes that that’s fine without v as soon as V gets involved then you’ve got and and it was an all English V room as well so then it’s just like well we’ve had these bunch of all year and they’re ruining the not ruining the Euros it was just like and again like it might not be a clear red card to everyone now some people also said he’ died but then they’d gave the penalty so don’t know it just felt the first instance of V not working 100% Michael Oliver it’s weird because I just think whatever happens we’re never going to be happy there’s always going to be a conversation somewhere and this this be a hundred years time yeah there’ll be my grandkids are saying they should be much better than where they are Oh I thought you just meant not just bad but it’s in like they should be doing better you think our system’s bad we’ll get the shittest player in for instance I think the striker for instance could have been like he should have scored 15 goals but he scored nine right and they got them in and uh and it worked wonders they came good they came boy 71 and there was actually someone who said 3-0 as well and that was in the if you said 3-0 um and even if you didn’t just say it was you we probably give you a shout out as well um ocean says been saying Romania will win this tournament for months um they’ve had a good game don’t get I mean they’ve scored more goals than England so does that make them favorites now um what else have we had in here uh Michael has been in charge so many bad decisions yet he’s making an impact on the Euros shame hand safe hands they’re getting closer Ukraine getting closer they do need something to go in very soon if they’re going to score another two no says mudrick has the skill but his football and brain is completely empty bit too far the IQ level I I get what I mean it’s been mentioned a few times about like his kind of footballing IQ and stuff he’s super talented like Dr again he’s done well there done really well um he’s super talented he just he needs coaching needs real coaching and that’s when he came on I did thought Conor gallaga looked good looked good I thought Bowen’s a really uh I saw some people questioning about taking boen um would I have taken Jack Gish I probably would have um maybe one of them that was the only sort of on the fence one wasn’t it I’ll be really interested to see e e play some um play some minutes as well I think he kind of deserves it too like when you get a bit older people get so head up on like the like when it was Madison for the Qatar World Cup I don’t think he played a minute yeah and everyone was like he’s got to go if he doesn’t go we’re not going anywhere that’s why like they used to take that’s like for instance why they used to take like Conor Cody because they were like there are some players here that are just never going to play and they are so influential in the dressing room that it’s worth taking them bringing them along um and so yeah like I’m trying to think who that is this here really oh maybe it’s maybe there’s no codus their mid 20s like going a bit more experien going to multiple tournaments not playing and maybe not having a negative influence but maybe not having a positive influence whereas if you’re maybe an A or you’re a your first tournament you’re really happy to be there yeah been around it yeah so maybe that infuses in another way I don’t know what’s happened with the Ben White thing there’s been so can’t imagine it being I do agree as well but I think like for instance say a like they want to keep it with people who are um have association with the fa have good links like that’s why Gare I think has worked so well he knew the academy he knows how it works at the fa stuff like that um part of me wondered like what would happen with gr Potter if if he could if he could do that i’ there’s I don’t think they’d go and say for instance go and get a Frank Lampard or Steven Gerard I don’t think that would be happening because I also think yeah exactly yeah I think they I think they are pretty Sterling went back then he was part of the next Squad and it was fine 100% 100% I think I think some I think I think Gare SG is overly criticized yes um and actually quite underrated do I think he should be the man united boss no um but I think he’s actually quite overly I think he’s overly criticized I he’s done a very he’s done an incredible job for England and also people forget from where he was coming from yeah I know big Sam was there but the tournament before that was the Iceland game that’s probably the lowest moment in our what fun as well right like so many people were criticizing Gare Southgate because he’s always picks defensively and then he always does this and then this this tournament he’s gone for the complet opposite like he’s gone very attacking and trying to like play Trent in Midfield and everything like he’s never going to win whatever happens someone interal manager um but I think he’s done I think he’s done a fantastic job I really really do right we’re winding down in this game we got a few minutes left before stoppage time but Rania have been I think they were on the on the ropes a little bit and then they scored the the amazing goal which we’re saying goal of the tournament yeah and then they’ve just kicked on haven’t they so where do you think let us know in the comments where do you think Romania can get to in the Euros what are you definitely potential in him um it’s just about finding the right way of getting out of him and and he still has games with Chelsea where you go like he’s he’s been much better this season for Chelsea definitely like I don’t think he’s been that bad um and he’s improved massively uh he’s just he I think you always got to have let him have a little bit of an element of let him kind of do what he can like wants uh because he he that kind of player um but I can see also why Arsenal yeah like if you look at trossard and look at Burick makes complete sense why why Aral fans definitely aren’t that bothered you do need that Squad don’t you with the way that the relentlessness of Manchester City yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah sa save them more money as well and that way they went and bought her verts yeah exactly uh Ukraine going for one last push here yeah I mean goals are important for this tournament just like we keep saying team yeah exactly very very true um and I I wouldn’t be if I’m Ukraine I wouldn’t be overly disappointed um really in terms of like is in like oh my God out of the Euros kind of thing like my thinking is you had chances like you you just didn’t have that final ball the goal you could first go you can seeed is absolute worldy from a mistake from the from the thir one’s a mistake isn’t it exactly yeah yeah second one is another mistake from the goalkeeper um and so I wouldn’t be too yeah disheartened um but they do need to like take their chances they need to like make that final ball happen a lot more um and in the same breath Romania have defended really well defended really well and taken their chances there’s Madrid I might do it oh man I mean that is spe absolutely spectacular I think I might go dra is in Man of the match not the not one of the worldy attempts um I’m just trying to who scored the first goal cu the first goal put them in is a crazy Stan Q that it was a great strike and then Marin and dragus uh but man man got two assists okay but were those those assists were a little were they the uh yeah who got the assist was that the the third goal yeah um yeah I I mean there’s a couple of them I think that could have it to be
